We finally got a full slate in the WNBA tonight. Six games on the board, sheesh – it's like Christmas! We're going to one of the late games where the Dallas Wings will be in town to take on the Golden State Valkyries. This will be the first time these two face off this year.

Dallas is 9-5 this season and third in the West. They come into this game off a huge 30-point win over the Las Vegas Aces on Monday. The Wings are 7-3 in their last ten games and only 4-3 on the road this year.

The Wings are off to a hot start after a disappointing season last year. Second year player Paige Bueckers leads the team in scoring with 19 points per game and is also averaging just under 6 assists per game. Last year's rookie of the year is having a major impact.

Another major impact has been the addition of forward Jessica Shepard. She is averaging 13.7 points, 11.6 rebounds and 5.7 assists per game. Shepard is coming off a big game vs the Aces with 15 points, 15 rebounds and 9 assists. It would've been her second triple double vs the Aces this season.

The Valkyries are 9-5 this year and fourth in the West. They come into this game on a four-game winning streak after another win over the Sparks on Monday. Golden State is 6-4 in their last ten games and 6-2 at home this season.

It's been a good start the season for Golden State. They don't rank really very high statistically other than three-point field goals. But, either way, they find a way to get the job done. A lot of it comes from the defense as well.

On defense, they turn the ball over the least amount in the league and have the second-best defensive rating. They can definitely make you miss shots, but will need to be on their toes with a good shooting Dallas team.

I really like Dallas in this spot. They're coming in off a giant win over one of the best teams in the league. Golden State is also in a spot where they're due for a loss. The spread is close for a reason if you ask me.

Dallas puts up more points per game than Golden State, runs a faster game and shoots the ball better. They have shown a huge turnaround from last season, and this is a great spot for them to make a statement on the road. They just need to keep playing their game.

Give me Paige Bueckers for 20 or more points. She is coming off a quiet game but had two games prior to that. I think we see her back in form and getting buckets. One of her best qualities as a player is she shoots the ball extremely well and that's how she racks those points quick.
