We got a showdown on our hands and it's going to be a good one. Two of the top teams in the league square off. The Connecticut Sun will visit the Minnesota Lynx at the Target Center.

Connecticut is 15-4 this season and 7-2 on the road. They 6-4 in their last 10 games, coming off a win Monday night vs. Phoenix. These road warriors will look to add another one to the win column.

The Sun are led by Alyssa Thomas and DeWanna Bonner. These two ladies have led this team to be 3rd in league in offensive rating. Otherwise, the team ranks 9th in the league for points and rebounds per game as well as last in pace.

They play a slow game in Connecticut, and it is very defensive minded. This team is 2nd in the league for turnovers per game and 3rd for defensive rating. The Sun will have their work cut out for them against this Lynx offense.

The Lynx are offense heavy with Napheesa Collier and Kayla McBride. This team ranks 4th in points, 2nd in field goal percentage and 1st in 3-point shooting percentage per game. It's hard to slow them down because they can shoot, and they shoot well.

On defense, they are one of the best in the league. They rank 1st in defensive rating and 2nd in steals. One thing they need to work on is turning the ball over. They rank 8th in the league which is not good.

Connecticut is also a very defense first team, so this should be a good matchup. These 2 teams played back in May, and it came down to the wire, with Connecticut winning by 1 point.

I went back and forth on this one for quite a bit. In the end, I'll be backing the Sun getting the 2 points. It's hard not to back them in this spot as the underdog.

This should be another close game like the last. I lean for the game to go under, and the total is set to make you think that, but they went over last game. I'll be staying away from the total as anything official.

In the end, I think the Sun have the edge with this team being aggressive. If they can get into the faces of the Lynx players and force bad shots, that gives them the edge right away.

For player props, I definitely like Collier's rebounds – this will probably be set around 10. She had 11 in the game earlier this year. I also like Kayla McBride for 3+ 3 pointers made. We should see this priced around -125 to -150.
