It looked like Napheesa Collier would make her return from injury a few nights ago, but after three weeks on the mend, the WNBA MVP favorite will finally be back on the court tonight as the Minnesota Lynx look for their 30th win of the season vs. the visiting Indiana Fever (7:00 p.m. ET, CBS Sports Network).

Minnesota (29-7) has gone 5-2 without Collier and remains firmly atop the WNBA standings, with just a few more wins needed to secure the top seed for the playoffs. At the other end of the playoff standings, Indiana (19-17) is currently in sixth, but a spot in the postseason is anything but a certainty given the team's recent form.

Will Minnesota edge even closer to securing the league's best record? Read on for our Fever vs. Lynx prediction and best bets and get the best value odds from BetOnline and other top online sportsbooks.

Fever vs. Lynx Betting Trends

  • The Fever are 8-9 SU and 7-10 ATS on the road this season, including 2-5 SU and ATS as a road underdog.
  • Indiana is 6-7 SU and 7-6 ATS overall as an underdog this season.
  • The over has hit in Indiana's last three games.
  • The Lynx are 9-1 SU and 7-2-1 ATS in their last 10 games as a favorite.
  • In Minnesota's last six home games, the over is 4-1-1.

Fever vs. Lynx Prediction and Best Bets

Is it time for the Fever to start panicking? Indiana won five of six after the WNBA All-Star break, but they have hit a rough patch over the last couple of weeks. Friday's 95-90 loss to the Lynx was their fifth loss in seven games and were it not for the teams behind them not really making the most of their opportunities, Indiana could be in some serious trouble already.

As it is, this next week-plus looms large for Indiana. Following tonight's matchup vs. the Lynx, the Fever host Seattle (19-18) on Tuesday before visiting Los Angeles (17-18) Friday, Golden State (18-18) Sunday, and Phoenix a week from Tuesday.

Indiana has done well to survive without Caitlin Clark for most of the season, but her continued absence looms rather large when the Fever's last three losses have been by a combined ten points.

In Friday's game vs. the Lynx, the Fever scored 52 first-half points and led by two at the break. But they were outscored 32-17 in the third quarter and were unable to come back in the fourth.

It was another rough defensive showing for Indiana, who has allowed an average of 88.9 PPG during this 2-5 stretch, including 100, 95, and 93 on the road.

With Collier coming back tonight for Minnesota, it's tough to see this rematch going any differently for Indiana. We will see if she is on limited minutes or if she takes it easy tonight after not playing for three weeks, but her mere presence will make a significant difference.
