United States vs Canada Gold Cup Prediction

The winner of this match will most likely go on to play Mexico in the CONCACAF Gold Cup Final later this month.

This is arguably the most important game of this tournament for both of these teams. Canada has not looked spectacular and were unable to win their group, forcing them to play the United States tomorrow night.

On the other hand, the United States are gelling well and have looked fairly dominant. Arguably they have not played as tough of competition as their opponent, however I think overall they are the more battle tested squad.

Gold Cup Quarterfinals Best Bets

I truly do think the United States win this game, and I think they could do it in dominant fashion. Obviously Canada will come out playing hard, but I think the US is simply too good at the moment.

I've got two bets in mind for this one, here's how I'll play it.

• USA to Win/Both Teams to Score No (+175) BetOnline
• USA to Keep a Clean Sheet (+125) BetOnline

I see the United States winning this game by a score of either 1-0, or 2-0. I do not think Canada will be able to produce much offense against the United States back line, and I think the US forwards will have a field day up top.

The first bet is the same as betting "USA to win to nil" which can be found at +160 on Bovada.

The second bet is essentially covering ourselves if we end up seeing a 0-0 draw after 90 minutes.

Hopefully the United States handles business and both of them cash.

What worries me about the under is the explosiveness of the US forwards and their ability to pepper the net. Once they get one, they try to break out for another.

While I lean with the under 2.5, I decided to go a slightly different route this time.
