The two clubs went head to head in January at Elland Road in their first meeting of the EPL season. Most of the match was scoreless, but each team found the back of the net during a five minute span midway through the second half. We see the hosts as a fairly substantial favorite, and that totally makes sense to me. Old Trafford is a tough place to go in and get a win for inferior EPL teams, and that's the exact situation we have today.

We are backing United to win, and all we need is two total goals in the match. Personally, I see the hosts netting at least two goals, so we'll just be sweating out them winning the match at home. Manchester United have not won against Leeds in a competitive match since February of 2023, and the last time they beat them in a non friendly match at Old Trafford was back in August of 2021. It's time for them to lay down the law, and that's exactly what I see them doing.

Manchester United have not been shutout since November 24. They've netted multiple goals in three of their last four overall, proving their offense is in great form. Overall this season, Manchester United are third in the EPL in terms of goals scored, netting 1.81 every time they take the field. As for Leeds, they rank No. 14 in terms of goals allowed, conceding over 1.55 per contest. The hosts should not have any issue creating scoring chances and finishing them off.

Recently, Leeds lost consecutive matches at home to Sunderland and Manchester City, both by a score of 1-0. The Black Cats have never been known for their attack, while City was able to get a win while resting some of their starters. If Manchester United brings their best 11 today, which they should, they'll be able to win this match and cover our total by themselves.
