English Premier League Weekend Preview, Odds & Best Bets

After a week off, we dive back into the pitch for another week of the English Premier League. If you've tuned in before, you know weekend morning soccer is one of my favorites and I'm stoked for its return.

We had some great battles 2 weeks ago. Tottenham suffered their 2nd loss of the season losing 2-1 to Wolverhampton. Shocking loss by the Spurs as this should have been an easy one for them. Aston Villa took care of business against Fulham by a score of 3-1. Liverpool shutout Brentford and Manchester United got a 1-0 win over Luton Town.

The game of the week went off! Chelsea managed to draw against Manchester City by a score of 4-4! Action packed game from both teams that I don't think anyone expected. Erling Haaland had 2 goals for City, but Chelsea was able to tie it up in the 5th minute of Extra Time on a Penalty Kick by Cole Palmer.

Looking at the table, the top spots haven't changed much between Manchester City, Liverpool, Arsenal and Tottenham. Aston Villa still holds the 5th spot with a 4-point lead over Manchester United, who is making a slight comeback. Now let' take a look at the fixtures for this week.

This week we lead off early with probably the best game on the slate. #1 Man City will host #2 Liverpool at Etihad Stadium. Both are the top offensive teams in the league with 2 of the top Premier players to ever play in the league. We're of course going to get into this game, but let's touch on a few other games.

Everton will host Manchester United who will look to keep climbing the table. We also have New Castle hosting Chelsea and Arsenal visiting Brentford. The other game we're going to get into is the Tottenham vs Aston Villa game on Sunday. Now let's dive into these 2 games.

Manchester City vs Liverpool Prediction, Odds and Picks

Prediction and Pick: Mohamed Salah 1+ SOT and BTTS (+122)

The 2 top teams will square off and we should expect nothing but the best. Both teams have played at the top of their games so far this season and this is going to be a fun one to watch.

They're both coming in on 3-1-0 streaks in their last 4 games. Manchester City will get the edge playing on their home pitch, but it shouldn't phase Liverpool. I expect a offense packed game from both teams.

Both come with heavy offenses which is why I think both teams score a goal. They each have 2 of the top goal scorers in the league. Manchester City has Erling Haaland and Liverpool has Mohamed Salah if you are not familiar.

With the odds, we're going to take Mo for 1 shot on target. The books are really favoriting City, even with props. I think we take advantage by taking Salah and we just need 1 shot. If Liverpool stands a chance, he will need to score, not just shoot.

Tottenham vs Aston Villa Prediction, Odds and Picks

Prediction and Pick: Son and Watkins 1+ SOT and BTTS (+145)

I have an unofficial lean for the game. Tottenham at home should win this game, but if they don't, I think it ends in a draw. They should come out hungry, but Aston Villa should do the same as they want to stay at the top of the table.

I do know both teams will come out firing. Tottenham is going to want to win this game as a bounce back from last week's unexpected loss. This is a perfect spot to do it at home, but a tough opponent.

Both Son and Watkins lead their teams' offenses. I expect them both to get their shot in without a problem. Each team is really going to be looking for the win, which is why I think they both find the back of the net.

We're going with the easy plays here and looking for the easy cash. Make a little coin after Thanksgiving for Cyber Monday deals!
