Liverpool have not allowed 50 goals in an EPL season since 2016. They are at 48 GA with two matches remaining. - Aston Villa Liverpool Picks

EPL

Another week rolls around and we are that much closer to the end of the English Premier League. After this weekend, teams will only have 10 matches remaining (or less) to earn points and move up the table. It's crunch time now, and our soccer analysts are being a little more cautious down the stretch. However, they still found a couple of EPL picks for Saturday's action, so let's dive right into them and see what we're betting on!

We are going with a very cheeky same game parlay in this match at Anfield on Saturday. Liverpool already shutout this team on the road earlier this season in November, and I see no reason why they can't do it again this weekend. In that earlier match, Liverpool won 2-0, scoring in the 60′ minute and again in stoppage time to seal the deal. However their defense was the story of the match. Liverpool controlled over 56% of possession and did not allow a single shot on target, outshooting their hosts 9-7 overall.

But dig deeper, it gets even worse. In that last four head to head matches, Liverpool are 4-0-0 beating West Ham by an aggregate score of 14-2 in those contests. Yes, West Ham netted goals in both of the previous matches at Anfield, but they haven't earned them. Liverpool allowed own goals to West Ham in the previous two meetings at Anfield.

The visitors have totaled just seven shots on frame in their last four meetings against Liverpool. That stat absolutely blows my mind, and does not give me any faith in their offense, especially considering where they are on the EPL table. Point being, I think this one could get ugly. Liverpool have all the reason to lay the hammer down and assert their dominance while trying to gain points on the league table. As for West Ham, they have been shutout nine times already this EPL season, once by their current foe, and on the road, I certainly see it happening again.

Prediction: Liverpool Wins 2-0 (+775)

Best Bet: Manchester City ML/Under 4.5 (+115) Lucky Rebel Sportsbook

A classic sweat for us, City to get the job done on the road and an inflated under since I don't believe Leeds will contribute to the total. Actually, I think Leeds will take a more conservative, defensive approach. Sure, we saw a five goal thriller last time these teams met at the Etihad, and City walked away victorious after Phil Foden scored in the first minute of the match and in stoppage time to seal a 3-2 win. In that match, Leeds only mustered up four shots on target, compared to City's nine. They were outshot overall 18-9 and lost the corner kick battle 8-1. That's not very much offense, and I'll interpret that as Gianluigi Donnarumma having one of the worst performances of his career.

Point being, at home, Leeds will do everything they can to make sure this doesn't turn into another shootout, because clearly they can't compete. Earning points is crucial for both sides, Manchester City need to gain some ground on the Gunners who are five points ahead of them, but City still has a match in hand. As for Leeds, they aren't as close to relegation status as they could be, but coming down the stretch they want to take that out of the equation completely.

Ultimately, I still think City is good enough to find a way to get it done on the road. If you didn't want to back a side, I think the under 3 (-128) could be worth the juice and the push potential.

Prediction: Manchester City Wins 2-0 (+775)
