There's a full slate of English Premier League action this weekend, so let's take a look at our soccer analysts favorite picks for this weekend in the EPL. Don't worry, I'll have scribbles out for Tottenham and Arsenal before the match on Sunday.

Best Bet: Aston Villa ML (-118) Lucky Rebel Sportsbook

Aston Villa hosts Leeds United in their second meeting of the English Premier League season. Back in November, Villa took down Leeds on the road by a score of 2-1 after falling behind just eight minutes into the match. Back at home, they should have no problem taking down this weaker opponent. Aston Villa are still fighting for a top spot in the EPL. Although winning the league might be out of reach with just 12 matches remaining, they'll still want to stack points and stay in a UEFA Champions League qualifying position.

They have won five of their last seven against Leeds United, and are unbeaten during that stretch as well. In fact, Leeds have not won at Villa Park since 2020, and I don't believe they will start now. The hosts have nothing else to look forward to, and their full focus should be on taking down Leeds in front of their own fans.

Prediction: Aston Villa Wins 2-0 (+825)

Best Bet: Chelsea ML/Under 3.5 (+130) Lucky Rebel Sportsbook

In all honesty, I am slightly worried about Chelsea going over this total by themselves. They are certainly capable of doing so. However, I do not see Burnley contributing to the total, so Chelsea to win to nil at -104 could also be worth a look, but I'd prefer plus money for that bet.

Regardless, they already shut this team out on the road, winning 2-0 in their earlier meeting against Burnley. The visitors are barely netting a goal per match while conceding nearly two per contest. If the Blues come focused defensively, which they should, there's no reason why they shouldn't win this match by the exact same score as last time.

Prediction: Chelsea Wins 2-0 (+575)

Best Bet: Manchester City ML/Under 4.5 (+128) Lucky Rebel Sportsbook

The Magpies head to Manchester to take on City in their fourth match of this competition season. Back in November in the EPL at St. James' Park, Newcastle beat their visitors 2-1, with all three goals coming in a seven minute span. Then the two met in the Carabao Cup Semifinals, and City was victorious in both matches. They won 2-0 on the road in the first leg, and won 3-1 later in the Etihad, which would've cashed this bet in both meetings.

In fact, this wager would've cashed in three of the last four meetings between these clubs. Newcastle will also have some tired legs, as they had a UCL contest on Wednesday in Azerbaijan against FK Qarabag. After traveling there and back and facing a well rested Manchester City team, I do not see them contributing to this total. However, defensively, they can hold their own and keep this low scoring.

Prediction: Manchester City Wins 2-0 (+900)

Best Bet: Sunderland Draw No Bet (-115) Lucky Rebel Sportsbook

I cannot stray away from backing the Black Cats at home on the draw no bet line against a weaker opponent. Plus, they are in a revenge spot, as they lost to Fulham on the road in November. Now, back at home, I see Sunderland winning, but I'll take some push potential. However, feel free to take their moneyline at +167 if you have more stones than I.

It took an 84′ minute goal for Fulham to win at home, and I'll admit they completely dominated the match. But recently, Sunderland is in better form. Fulham have lost three straight overall in the EPL, and three straight on the road in league play as well. Sunderland have been blanked by Liverpool and Arsenal in back to back matches, but have handled business against common caliber opponents at home, beating Burnley, Crystal Palace, Newcastle and earning draws against Manchester City and Leeds. I trust them to at least earn a point (which would give us a push), but I wouldn't be surprised if they win.

Under 2.5 at -143 could also be a good look if you are into paying the juiceman.

Prediction: Sunderland Wins 1-0 (+675)
