The English Premier League is back this weekend after a brief break for the FA Cup, but Saturday brings us seven matches across England to bet on. Things get started early, as the Manchester Derby gets going at 7:30 a.m. eastern. Let's get right into our favorite EPL picks for the slate!

Best Bet: Manchester City ML (-105) Lucky Rebel Sportsbook

This is too good of a price to pass up. Manchester City are coming off two straight wins and shutout Manchester United at the Etihad early this year. Sure, one could argue that this is a perfect revenge spot at home for the boys in red, but City is simply that good.

They lead the league in goals scored, netting 2.14 already this season, and rank second in the league defensively, as they are one of two teams to allow less than one goal per contest. Having already shutout this United team before, and given the form their hosts are in, I could certainly see City playing their way to another dominating win. Manchester United are coming off a home loss to Brighton & Hove Albion, and do not have an outright win in their last four matches overall. The city of Manchester will run blue once again, following City's victory.

Prediction: Manchester City Wins 2-0 (+1000)

Best Bet: Sunderland Draw No Bet (-128) Lucky Rebel Sportsbook

Back Sunderland at home with me as we are getting push potential by paying the juice on the draw no bet line. While neither team scores very often, they both are very sound defensively as well. However, Crystal Palace hosted early this year as the teams played to a scoreless draw. At the Stadium of Light, I see the Black Cats possibly earning a victory, but definitely securing a point.

Sunderland have dropped to No. 10 on the EPL table after spending the first half of the season in a UEFA Champions League qualifying position. The back line is winning them games, as they rank No. 3 in goals allowed this season. Defense wins championships (most of the time), and although Sunderland are not competing for the top spot on the table, they certainly have the motivation to earn three points at home, and I'm willing to pay some juice with push potential in order to watch them do just that.

Prediction: Sunderland Wins 1-0 (+650)

Best Bet: Arsenal ML/Both Teams to Score No (+140) Lucky Rebel Sportsbook

Cue up the broken record monologue, because we are backing the Gunners to win in shutout fashion on the road on Saturday. They sit six points ahead of Manchester City and Aston Villa, comfortably at the top of the table. However, given the matchups those two clubs have this weekend, Arsenal will not take this game lightly. They barely squeaked by Chelsea during their Carabao Cup Semifinal first leg this week, and that scare should be all the extra motivation they need to go out and earn three points.

The Gunners have the best back line in the entire world, and it showed in their first game, where they beat Nottingham Forest 3-0 at Emirates Stadium. Even on the road, nothing should change. The Gunners have 18 shutouts so far this competition season, and 17 of those have resulted in wins. Yes, Arsenal has a tough matchup in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday, facing Inter Milan in Italy, but they know how crucial three points are in keeping their lead over City and Villa.

Expect the Gunners to come out with a very sound back line, but are still able to find a winner or two on the road. They are just that good.

Prediction: Arsenal Wins 2-0 (+650)
