The opening weekend of the English Premier League continues with three matches on Sunday. After six total contests so far, we have yet to see a single draw. Arsenal, Brentford, Everton, Ipswich Town, Leeds United and even Hull City, all found three points in the opening weekend. Will that change with the three matches to wrap up the weekend? EPL Expert Picks and Predictions August 23
Manchester City vs. AFC Bournemouth EPL Picks and Predictions

Best Bet: Manchester City ML/Under 4.5 (+105) BetOnline
Manchester City were just embarrassed against the defending EPL Champions, Arsenal, losing 3-0 in the FA Community Shield. Now they begin league play at home against a much inferior opponent. This is their first EPL match without Pep Guardiola as well, so while we should expect some growing pains, this is a match they NEED to earn three points at home.
The visitors are not going to be a strong side in the English Premier League this season. Sure, they were a little frisky last year and good for a couple of upsets, but in this league opener at the Etihad, I see City flexing their muscle and doing whatever it takes to secure a win. However, I do not think it gets out of hand. City should not net more than three, and Bournemouth may or may not find the score sheet. Either way, that should be enough to cash this same game parlay with an extended total.
Inflate the under and root for Manchester City to bounce back at home and earn three easy points.
Prediction: Manchester City Wins 3-0 (+1000)
Newcastle United vs. Liverpool EPL Picks and Predictions

Once again, we found plus money and push potential on the pitch. Here we have two teams competing at St. James' Park who I want to see it from before I believe it this season. Liverpool were awful last year, and worse than that, they were unpredictable. You never new which Reds team was going to show up, making betting on them (or against them) nearly impossible. On the other side, Newcastle sold their top goal scorer, Anthony Gordon, to Barcelona this transfer window, so they will be learning to play offense without him.
I think that results in a low scoring affair.
In this opener, Newcastle will be holding on for dear life as they try to contain this Liverpool attack. However, the Reds, being on the road, might be a little extra cautious as well. They have a new manager, no Mo Salah, and the back line was horrendous last year. The last thing they'll want to do is concede an early goal, allowing the Magpies to park the bus. Therefore, I see Liverpool controlling the ball but being slightly hesitant to run forward at will and leave themselves exposed to a quick counter attack.
After losing to Liverpool, the past two head to head matches, allowing seven total goals, I think Newcastle comes into this match extremely defensive focused. Give me a 1-1 draw, leaving a bad taste in the visitor's mouth before going home.
Prediction: 1-1 Draw (+700)
