After a successful week betting on the Carabao Cup, this weekend the English Premier League returns for action! There are a total of eight EPL matches slated for Saturday, so we had to have our experts look at each contest and see if they could find an edge. Some have been found, and now they want to share all of those with you. So let's get right into our favorite EPL picks for Saturday's matches.

Our overall record reflects the bad EPL betting season we have had. Lucky for us, there are still several months for us to dig ourselves out of this hole. And it starts with some winners tomorrow.

Back Manchester City to win in shutout fashion on Saturday at home. They are already coming off two straight shutout wins, and one was done by their second team this past week. This team is good, they are very deep, and their starters are all well rested coming into this contest. Plus, they have nothing to look ahead to on the horizon. Therefore, they will use this match as a chance to earn three easy points at home, trying to catch up with the Gunners, who are currently just two points ahead of them.

They have shutout wins in three of their last four, and have 12 total this season. They rank third in the EPL in goals allowed, conceding just one per match, while West Ham United rank bottom five in goals scored, having netting just 19 in their 16 league matches. West Ham have been shutout by Liverpool, Arsenal, Tottenham and Sunderland… all top teams in the league.

Manchester city should have no problem playing sound and earning three points at home.

Prediction: Manchester City Wins 2-0 (+700)

Best Bet: Arsenal ML/Under 3.5 (+121) Lucky Rebel Sportsbook

I looked at backing the Gunners to win to nil, but then I remembered they are basically missing their entire backline. Now, they still have the best defense in the EPL, but they are slipping. However, I see them coming focused this weekend on the road, ready to earn a victory in what should be a low scoring match.

Even on the road, I trust Arsenal's backups on defense. Everton ranks No. 9 on the EPL table, but are third worst (No. 18) in goals scored this year. The Gunners have the best defense by far in the league, and will want to keep a lead on Manchester City, who they know will pick up three points at home. Despite missing some personnel, they are strong enough to hold Everton to just one goal at most.

Everton have stayed under 3.5 goals in three straight, and 13 of their last 14 overall. Arsenal has stayed under 3.5 in five straight, and 11/12 matches on the road this year. All we need is for them to be able to win as well, which they are more than capable of doing on the offensive end. I trust the attack to make up for the missing players on the defensive side of things, resulting in a low scoring win for the Gunners.

Prediction: Arsenal Wins 1-0 (+475)
