Let's get a little context. Zoom out for a second. Arsenal is in a very comfortable place on the EPL table. They are over a match ahead of Manchester City and Aston Villa. This team is also on top of the UEFA Champions League table, with one League Phase match remaining. The Gunners host Kairat Almaty on Wednesday to wrap up that portion of the UCL, and all they need is a single point to secure that top spot.

Again, Arsenal just needs a draw, at home, against the worst team in the UCL to secure the No. 1 overall seed. They could do that with their U-16s if they wanted to.

Which leads me to why we are backing the Gunners. This specific match is much more important. They are not looking ahead, there's no reason to be, and three points against Manchester United keeps this a three horse race for the top of the EPL table, and Arsenal would be putting themselves in a great position going forward.

But it certainly won't come easy. Manchester United have nothing left to play for this season besides their domestic league. They are not in the UCL, Europa League or Conference League. They were knocked out of the Carabao Cup early on, and they are no longer in the FA Cup running either. All they have left is the EPL. Surely they will bring their A-game, and I see them capable of at least competing, but winning is another animal.

The Gunners have allowed less than a goal every three games in the EPL this season. I see them securing a crucial victory on Sunday at home, but I doubt it gets out of hand. You can take this down to 3.5 for +150 if you'd rather, but on the off chance the Gunners win 3-1, I'll take the extra cushion since we are still getting plus money.

Prediction: Arsenal Wins 1-0 (+675)
