We have a possible elimination game on our hands. The Dallas Stars have their backs against the wall in Game 6 vs. the Minnesota Wild. Minnesota stole Game 5 in Dallas on Tuesday by a score of 4-2.
It was a fairly even game until the third period. Wild forward Mats Zuccarello got the scoring started just about four minutes into the game. The Stars then answered with a power play goal to tie it up about five minutes later. Defenseman Miro Heiskanen scored the goal for Dallas.
In the second period, the Wild pounded on the offense like in the first period. They outshot the Stars 25-11 in the first two periods. It took until third seconds left on the clock for a goal from Minnesota forward Matt Boldy. The power play goal broke the tie and gave the Wild a 2-1 lead.
To finish it off, the game was scoreless until Minnesota forward Michael McCarron scored eight minutes in. The Stars were able to get a goal late in the period from Jason Robertson, but it was too late. Kirill Kaprisov iced the game with an empty netter.

It's been a great series and one that could go to seven games. Both teams have top level offenses that are playing at a high level currently. Defenses need to step up a bit, especially from Stars allowing 3 or more goals in all the games they lost.
Both teams have solid goaltending but have been a bit leaky. There has been a total of 31 goals through the first 5 games, which is an average of 6 goals per game. I'm more surprised by Stars goalie Jake Oettinger as he played well this season and has playoff experience.
We are expected to see Oettinger from the Stars and Jesper Wallstedt from the Wild. Both have started every game this series, so it'll be interesting to see what adjustments each team makes.

This series could've been the Western Conference Finals. It's crazy that it's just the first round. I'm really not sure which way I lean in this one, but I definitely think we're going to see goals. The over is also 4-1 so far this series which is why I lean for it again.
Both offenses have looked good, especially Minnesota. They're going to come into this game fired up at home and should fire the puck. I see them scoring 4 or more goals again this game. Dallas is going to score and that's what's going to have this go over.
The value is good for the play as well. Tons of value on the moneyline as well if you can pick a side. Give me Matt Boldy to continue to tear it up, Give me his 4 or more shots on goal as well as his anytime goal. He's scored in each of the last two games.
