We're going to back to Carolina for Game 5 after an exciting first four games. In what a lot of people thought was going to be a snoozefest has become one of the most electric series in some time. he Hurricanes all of sudden have the momentum.
Game 4 wasted no time getting started. Hurricanes forward Logan Stankoven scored a minute into the game. Two minutes later, forward Jackson Blake made it a 2-0 game. Not too long after, the Knight struck with a goal by forward Mark Stone, and it was a 2-1 game.

That wasn't it all for the first period. Carolina captain Jordan Staal scored a power play goal just about thirteen minutes into the period. At that rate the Knights had their work cut out for them in the second period and that was fine. They scored two goals, one by forward William Karlsson and another by forward Brett Howden to make it 3-3 after two periods.
The third period started off slow until six and half minutes in. Hurricanes forward Jordan Staal banged in his second of the night to make it a 4-3 game. They got the empty netter by forward Nikolaj Ehlers to seal the game with a minute left.

This is going to be another banger. I think we get another barn burner and see the game go over, possibly even go to overtime. In the end, I like Vegas to come in and steal this game. I think they have what it takes to come in and steal another one in Carolina.
They have to play their game and try to get an edge. The way Vegas has been playing could've been a sweep, and you could say the same for Carolina, but I think the Knights have been the better team. This team has been in these big spots before as well.
It's also so important to steal this game and get the chance to close the series at home. That alone is major motivation along with knowing you can win in their building. Carter Hart needs to step up and not allow four goals this game to really give them the chance to win.
Give me the possible Conn Smythe winner Mitch Marner to get 3 or more shots on goal. He's coming off a game with no shots on goal but had ten shots on goal the game prior. I think he comes back and gets his shots. I will also be sprinkling his 2 or more points with the way he's been dishing the puck.
