It's been a great series so far and it could come to an end today. The Carolina Hurricanes will look to close out the series tonight vs. the Ottawa Senators on the road. Carolina has controlled this entire series in what has been a rather low scoring one.
Game 3 ended in a 2-1 victory for the Canes in Ottawa. They scored in the first goal in the first period by Logan Stankoven. That was his third game this series, scoring one goal in each game. Most of the second period went by before the next goal and it came from the Sens.
Forward Drake Batherson tied the game up sixteen minutes in. Unfortunately for the Senators, the Canes got it right back a minute and a half later with a goal from forward Jason Blake. That goal would ultimately be the game winner after a scoreless third period.
Goalie Freddy Andersen is expected to get the start again. He is 3-0 so far with a 1.00 GAA and a .968 save percentage. Andersen has been exceptional for the Canes and could be a huge piece of continued success if he keeps this play up.

Can Ottawa leave it all out there and send the series back to Carolina?

Senators forward Brady Tkachuk takes a shot on Hurricanes goalie Freddy Andersen.
The Senators have one last chance to extend the series. It's nothing against them, but they're just not the better team here. They've competed each game, don't get me wrong, but their play isn't working.
Only putting up three goals all series is a huge problem. Ottawa needs to find their offense badly. They're 0-12 on the power play which is just terrible. On the other side of the puck, they've committed ten penalties but have killed them off much better.
Their goaltending hasn't been horrible where they've been in every game and not blown out. In net, we're expected to see Linus Ullmark again. He's 0-3 with a 2.33 GAA and a .932 save percentage.
Let's check out the odds and get into the Hurricanes vs. Senators Game 4 picks.

Get the brooms out ladies and gents. The craziest part is – we're getting great value on the moneyline. I definitely lean another under and at even money is also nice, but this is it today.
Carolina has controlled this entire series, and they should end it tonight. They're the better team on both sides of the puck and Ottawa has had no answer for them. Again, should be another chess match, so leaning under, but that's the kind of game the Canes like.
I like for Logan Stankoven and Taylor Hall to keep killing it. Give me Stankoven for 3 shots on goal and 4 shots on goal. For Hall, give me his 2 shots on goal and 3 shots on goal. Both have cleared the lines easily and they may raise Hall's line to 3.
