Wow, what a start to this Stanley Cup Finals. Two games, neck and neck, back and forth straight until the end. After another barn burner, the Hurricanes took game two to tie this series up at one game apiece.
Game two started different this time with the Knights striking first. Brett Howden scored a goal in the first period with about six and half minutes left. Going into the second period, the game was quiet until Howden scored for a second time, making it 2-0.

Carolina was struggling to find the back of the net while out shooting the Knights in the first two periods. Halfway into the third period, the Canes finally got on the board with a goal from Logan Stankoven. Just over two minutes later, Mark Jankowski tied the game up.
With less than five minutes left, Carolina forward Jordan Staal scored to give his team the lead. Unfortunately for the Canes, it wasn't enough because the Knights Mark Stone tied the game at three with just over a minute to play.
The game would go to overtime where the Knight would commit an early penalty. It would eventually be their demise as the Canes scored on the power play. Forward Seth Jarvis blasted a one-timer home to end the game.

This series has been nothing short of amazing. All this action has made for fantastic hockey and as it should be with the two best teams left. I don't see much changing in this game because even though the goalies have been sub-par, they're scored good goals.
If the goalies were playing leaky, I'd possibly lean the under, but we're seeing good hockey. These goalies are doing everything they can to slow down these offenses, and it seems to only last until the third period.
Carolina has been shooting more, but the saves line is probably going to be so tight that it's a stay away. I like for Mitch Marner to continue his tear. Give me his 3 or more shots on goal paired with him to record a point. He has the most points these playoffs and making a bid for the Conn Smythe Trophy.
I have to sprinkle Brett Howden to score again. He has three goals in his last two games and four goals in four games. Howden leads the playoffs with 13 goals so far and I don't think he's done yet.
