Even if Seattle was to turn it up and win their last 9 games, they would need the 3 teams in front of them to lose practically all their games.

The Kraken are pretty much .500 at home but are terrible on offense. They rank in the bottom of the league for goals scored and shots on goal per game.

Of defense, they play much better. Seattle ranks in the top 10 for goals allowed and shots on goal allowed per game. It unfortunately hasn't been enough for them.

Goalie Joey Daccord is expected in net tonight. He has a 18-15-11 with a 2.42 GAA and a .917 save percentage. The guy has some great numbers so far this season in the starting role, but getting support on offense has been the problem.

This really shouldn't be over thought. We have a strong road team who is as hot as the sun right now vs a team who is not making the playoffs which is a large decline from last year.

Dallas is hungry right now and getting hot at the right time is important. They'll look to continue to play smart, aggressive hockey.

The Puck line really doesn't scare me in this one. Dallas should come out screaming and wanting to win this game. I expect them to come out to an early lead and take control of this game.

We possibly may see a beat down. The over 5.5 at -130 isn't a bad look either. The Stars could put up 5 goals on their own.
