So far, we're getting spoiled these playoffs between the matchups and finishes we've seen. Dallas had a great get back game in Game 2 after losing the 1st game at home. Colorado will look to take advantage of home ice now.

The Avalanche were 1 of the best home teams in the league this season. With a 31-9-1 record, they more than held it down. This poses a problem for Dallas as they dropped a game already. It's going to be tough to get that game back in Colorado.

Although they lost the 1st game, the Stars were up 3-0 early in that game. In Game 2, they did the same thing in the 2nd period, but held on to their lead. There has been no shortage of goals this series already…possibly a bet to come?

Goalie Jake Oettinger got the win with 28 saves in Game 2. He's 5-4-1 in his last 10 games vs the Avalanche, but 2-1 in his last 3 games. Oettinger will be in net tonight looking for back-to-back wins.

Colorado will look to roll at home in Game 3 and take the series lead

As one of the top teams this year and a favorite to win it all, Colorado has had themselves a year. They are one of the top offenses in the league and led the league in goals scored per game.

Nathan Mackinnon had an MVP worthy year and is carrying his play right into the playoffs. Valeri Nichushkin has 9 goals already these playoffs and Makar has 12 points.

The team is buzzing but need to play better defense. They have allowed 8 goals in 2 games and that's not going to cut it. Goalie Alexander Georgiev had a fantastic year and needs a little help to solidify this team.

Back at home, I expect the Avalanche to win this game. This is a must win spot for them in this series to gain control. On home ice is the best place to do it too.

The Avs have figured out how to get to Oettinger, so that is not the issue. Their offense is a powerhouse that is hard to contain, so the Stars are going to need to slow them down. Colorado on the other hand, needs to do the same.

If the Avs can play better defense and protect Georgiev, they have a really good chance of coasting through this game. We're going to take the moneyline to cover ourselves for the bet.
