Daniel Collins (SPJ) NFL Week 2 Best Bet

George Pickens

George Pickens o59.5 Rec Yds (-125)

I know Georgie boy didn't have flashy week 1. Hell, the whole Cowboys offense laid an egg.

But I am expecting a BIG bounce back this week in a divisional matchup against a subpar Commander secondary. He dropped 2 balls last week, one of which could have gone for a 70+yard TD. That ain't happening again.

I think we see a big resurgence from this Cowgirls offense on Sunday, with Pickens being at the core of it.

Chef T NFL Week 2 Best Bet

Christian McCaffrey over 58.5 rushing yards (-115)

CMC is my favorite play on the slate after he opened the year with 68 yards on just 10 carries, and now he gets a Miami defense that allowed 130 rushing yards in Week 1.

San Francisco is a 13.5 point home favorite, which sets up exactly the kind of positive game script where McCaffrey should see more volume than he did last week and have plenty of runway to clear this number.

Nate Hornung NFL Week 2 Best Bet

Off week on Paternity Leave! Back for week 3!

NFL Handicapping 101

Varun Sharma NFL Week 2 Best Bet

Jordan Addison o34.5 Receiving Yards (-115)

The Bears secondary got torched in Week 1 and while normally a single week of data isn't enough; this is the exact thing we saw last year from Chicago. The defense can't get pressure, leaving an already poor secondary even more vulnerable.

Jalen Coker and Tetairoa McMillan combined for 213 receiving yards last week and as we know; a majority came from Coker. Coker plays a ton in the slot and it's where we saw the Bears struggle a lot last week.

This week they've got to deal with the speedster, Jordan Addison, in that very same spot. Addison saw just 2 targets in the team's Week 1 victory, but his history with Wentz is very different.

Addison averaged 7.5 targets per game in the 5 games with Wentz under center last year; averaging 77 receiving yards per game and 5.3 receptions per contest. The two have a built in chemistry that we didn't get to see last week, but against this Bears' defense; everyone should get a turn.

Tristan Vieira NFL Week 2 Best Bet

Derrick Henry a part of the Under 48 game total expert pick for Week 1.

Can the Ravens punish the Saints on Sunday?

Ravens/Saints u46.5 (-110)

Fresh off scoring 30 points a piece, both teams come into this game banged up on offense. Zay Flowers expected to be out so I believe the Ravens will keep the ball on the ground with Jackson & Henry to chew up a lot of clock.

People see the Saints score last week and think points … but that game was very pedestrian heading into the 3rd quarter. Give me the UNDER baby!

Sukh Brar NFL Week 2 Best Bet

Raiders TT Rushing Yards o98.5 (-120)

Simple maths? Raiders ran for 130 last week and Chargers gave up 116 on the ground to the Cardinals.

Big maths? Advanced stats tell us that the Raiders O-Line dominated in week one. The group performed well above their expected baselines according to Pro Football Focus.

Lastly, Chargers defense couldn't get off the field last week. They lost time of possession (37:31 to 22:29), if that happens again, then the Raiders rushers should have a great afternoon. Let's not forget rookie Mike Washington aided Jeanty with 41 of his own yards on 7 carries.

Brad Blakemore  NFL Week 2 Best Bet

Bijan Robinson o130 rush + receiving yard -113

Swift had 134 rush + receiving yards vs Carolina last week. Monangai had 124 rushing + receiving yards last week vs Carolina.

It sounds like Cooper Rush will be taking QB duties once again. So what else are the Falcons going to do but feed Bijan?

Justin Carlucci NFL Week 2 Best Bet

Kayshon Boutte over 35.5 Rec yds (-110)

Houston will be without Nico Collins, who was the true outside receiver in the Texans' offense in Week 1. He posted a 42% air-yard share and a 26% target share while running 91% of his routes out wide. Houston was already down Jayden Higgins for the season, so there is suddenly a huge amount of opportunity available in the passing game.

Kayshon Boutte is the most logical player to take over some of that role.

Houston acquired Boutte from New England only a few weeks ago While many seem to be chasing Xavier Hutchinson this week, Boutte ran 73% of his routes out wide in Week 1, and I think he'll inherit more of Collins' role in a game with CIN where they'll have to keep up.

PJ Glasser NFL Week 2 Best Bet

Ravens/ Saints u46.5 (-110)

I think Jesse Minter's defense will give Tyler Shough trouble and the injuries to jakobi lane and Zay flowers should limit some of the explosive plays we saw vs the colts. Plus it's supposed to rain in Baltimore I'll take the under.

Tone's Takes NFL Week 2 Best Bet

Justin Jefferson

Justin Jefferson over 77.5 rec yards -115

Bounceback year for JJ? He started off the campaign registering 92 yards last week. Carson Wentz will be at quarterback this week and JJ is averaging 95 YPG in 6 games with him under center. Chicago allowed the 7th most yards to receivers last season and allowed 213 to Carolina last week.

Betting the Pitch NFL Week 2 Best Bet

Colts +6.5 (-105)

This number feels inflated to me. I think the public and sportsbooks are overreacting to the Week 1 results, and it's showing in this line.

Mahomes dealt with plenty of pressure in the opener. Now, Kansas City's offensive line remains a concern, especially with undrafted rookie Kahlil Benson starting at left tackle. That could give the Colts opportunities to get after Mahomes and disrupt the Chiefs' offense.

Meanwhile, I expect a much better performance from Daniel Jones and Indianapolis. The Colts ran into a buzz saw against Baltimore in Week 1, losing 41-23 to a Ravens offense that piled up 506 yards. However, I'm not ready to overreact to one poor performance. This feels like a much better spot for Indianapolis to respond. I expect the Colts' offense to bounce back and do enough to keep this game close on the road.

BetAlytics NFL Week 2 Best Bet

NYG/LAR o47.5 (-110)

Sean McVay's high-volume passing attack against an aggressive Giants defense sets up the perfect script for explosive plays and fast-paced scoring.

The Rams' heavy 11-personnel passing scheme creates matchup nightmares in space, while pristine climate conditions ensure high offensive efficiency. Expect sustained drives and quick response scores to clear the total by over a field goal.

Brandon Pham NFL Week 2 Best Bet

Kenneth Walker o79.5 Rush Yards -114

Couldn't stop King Henry, wont stop KW3. Mahomes finally has a run game.

Alex Bohling NFL Week 2 Best Bet

Can Trey McBride & the Cardinals continue their hot start Sunday?

Trey McBride o62.5 Receiving Yards (-110)

McBride saw 13 targets in the Cardinals' week one matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers, finishing with nine catches for 95 yards and a touchdown.

The Seattle Seahawks rank 27th in receiving yards allowed to tight ends, and McBride's chemistry with Jacoby Brisset continues to build to new heights.

Jackson McNeese NFL Week 2 Best Bet

Emmett Johnson 40+ Rush & Rec yards (-110)

Colts couldn't stop a running faucet if they tried last week. Chiefs are committed to running and EJ proved he belonged in the NFL last week, so we're running it back.
