Super Tuesday delivers a high tempo showdown in Stillwater as Oklahoma State welcomes No. 25 UCF. The Cowboys look to respond after a rough road loss, while the Knights arrive riding an 11 game winning streak fueled by confidence and momentum. Both teams prefer to play fast, setting the stage for an up and down battle with plenty of possessions. Oklahoma State has been strong at home and defends the interior well, while UCF faces just its second true road test of the season. With energy in the building and styles that clash perfectly, this matchup has all the ingredients to be one of the most entertaining games of the night.

#25 UCF vs. Oklahoma State Bet
Super Tuesday is all the way back, and we are being spoiled with an incredible matchup in Stillwater as the Oklahoma State Cowboys host No. 25 UCF. Both teams are coming off completely different performances over the weekend. The hometown Cowboys are looking to get back on track with a win, while the Knights look to keep their winning ways alive after rattling off 11 straight victories dating back to November 8th. Does Oklahoma State stand a chance against UCF? I think so…
System Play
The Knights are coming off a massive win over then No. 22 Kansas on Saturday. They beat the Jayhawks 81 to 75 as 4.5-point home underdogs. The UCF faithful stormed the court in celebration after the win, and rightfully so, but now I must fade them. Last night, I faded the Cornhuskers after they stormed the court Friday against Michigan State, so the system play finds itself in a personal bounce back spot as well. On the other side, the Cowboys are coming off an embarrassing 22 point loss to Texas Tech as 12.5 point road underdogs. That marked their second loss of the season and easily their worst performance to date. However, just like the system play, I believe Steve Lutz will have his team ready to bounce back and get right in this spot against a very good UCF squad.
Points should not be at a premium in this game tonight, as both teams love to run. Oklahoma State will force this game into a sprint, ranking 10th in pace on Haslametrics. The Knights are not far behind at 71st. Even with their fast tempo, the Cowboys have still maintained a top 100 defense. They crash the glass and defend the interior extremely well. Offensively, they have been very strong against top 100 opponents. In six such games, they rank inside the top 35 offensively, excelling at protecting the ball, attacking the glass, and avoiding blocks. They also rank inside the top 100 in free throw rate on both offense and defense. UCF, meanwhile, has struggled getting to the line this season, ranking 245th in free throw rate offense, while sitting 174th in free throw rate defense.
True Road Test
Tonight marks the Knights second true road game of the season. The last time they played in a true road environment was November 14th at Texas A and M, where they picked up an 86 to 74 win over the Aggies. That was nearly two months ago. Now the season is in full swing, the Cowboys are comfortable on their home floor, and the fans understand how important this matchup is. Overall, UCF has played just three games away from home and is three and zero, but I am not going to lean on stats with a sample size that small.
Against top 100 teams, however, the Knights have shown some defensive cracks that the Cowboys should be able to exploit. Their two-point percentage defense slips from 107th to 148th. They foul more, dropping from 174th to 190th in free throw rate defense. They also struggle to protect the rim, falling from 210th to 304th in block rate. Overall, their defensive efficiency drops by 36 spots. Coming off such an emotional home win and immediately having to hit the road is never easy, especially for a team that has not played away from home since November. Give me the Cowboys to cover the spread.
