Slop's Best Bet

keyonte george

Keyonte George o23.5 Points (-104) | Lucky Rebel

There is a 0% chance he can be held under 24 by the Bucks. Giddy just dropped 20 on them and he doesn't even shoot. Feels right.

Varun's Best Bets

Dyson Daniels o22.5 PRA (-120)| Lucky Rebel

Friend of the program and my favorite Atlanta Hawk; Dyson Daniels. Daniels is averaging 11.4 points per game this year, shooting 50.3% from the field and he's been one of the most feared defenders in the league. He is averaging 1.9 steals per game, he ranks 3rd in total steals and he does a great job of getting out in transition.

Daniels is averaging 6.6 rebounds and 6.1 assists per game this year and he's cleared this line in six of his last eight games. The reason I really love Daniels today is because of how he's played against Philly in his career.

In six games as a starter, Daniels is averaging 16.7 points, 7.8 rebounds and 5.7 assists per game. He's shooting 56.1% from the field in these games and Philly's defense has only gotten worse.

The Philadelphia 76ers rank 18th in points allowed, 21st in rebounds allowed and 21st in assists allowed. Against shooting guards the Sixers rank 25th in points allowed, 22nd in rebounds allowed and 27th in assists allowed.

Lastly, Daniels has been great at home. His shooting percentage jumps to 51.6% at home and he's cleared this in 57% of his home games. Tonight it feels like Daniels can take advantage of a porous Sixers' defense.

Ryan Rollins o29.5 PRA (-105) | Lucky Rebel

Ryan Rollins is coming into his own this year and I couldn't be more excited. Rollins became a full time starter for the Milwaukee Bucks and he's been thriving. The fourth year point guard is averaging 17.1 points, 5.7 assists and 4.7 rebounds per game this year as a starter.

Rollins' is shooting 47% from the field as a starter and 41.6% from beyond the arc. It's never been a question of talent, but a question of opportunity. Rollins becomes the team's primary ball handler with Porter Jr. on the sidelines and the increased opportunities against a really bad Utah defense should help Rollins get over this line.

The Jazz rank 30th in opponent effective field goal percentage, 30th in points allowed, 29th in opponent 3-point percentage and 29th in opponent free throw rate. The team is terrible and they've struggled against point guards. Utah ranks2 5th in points allowed to opposing PGs and 24th in assists allowed.

Against shooting guards, it's more of the same. The team is 27th in points give up to the position, 28th in rebounds allowed and 29th in assists allowed.

You may know me as ‘VSaaauce’. I’ve been a die hard hoops fan my entire life. I’ve been betting on the NBA/NCAAB/NFL/MLB for six years now, each year gaining more and more knowledge about being a profitable handicapper. I’m eager to learn, and eager to pass on everything I’ve gained over the last few years. I started my Twitter page four years ago, and this community makes me so thankful I did. Outside of sports and handicapping, I enjoy traveling, hoopin, a strong espresso and I’m currently studying to obtain my MD. I’m all about the vibes, good vibes only.
