The week long break from NBA games was tough, but we're officially back and we've got a 9-game slate to jump into on this Friday night. Let's get right into my favorite props tonight.

Today's Best Bets

Donovan Clingan o23.5 P/R (-114) | Lucky Rebel

Donovan Clingan

Let's kick it off with someone we love to bet on around, Donovan Clingan; also known as 'Cling Kong'.

The 7'2 center has started all 52 games he's played in, averaging 11.6 points, 11.5 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game in his sophomore year. He's shooting 52.6% from the field and he's even looked a lot more comfortable from beyond the arc; taking 3.1 3-point attempts per game and shooting 32.1%.

The Portland Trailblazers have battled injuries this year and it's why the team sits at 27-29. Deni Avdija's missed 10 games, Shaedon Sharpe's missed 8, and Jerami Grant's missed 16 games. Jrue Holiday's become a full-time starter for Portland but even he's missed almost 30 games this year.

Despite all the injuries, the Blazers are still playing for a spot in the postseason/play-in tournament. Clingan's averaging 27.6 minutes per game this year and we've seen his numbers climb in the new year. Since the start of 2026, Clingan's averaging 29.2 minutes per game. He's scoring 12.8 points per game and grabbing 13 rebounds per game.

Clingan leads the league in offensive rebounds per game (4.7) and ranks 3rd in second chance points (4.3/game). He's also had big games against Jokic, clearing this in two of four matchups; averaging 12 points and 11 rebounds in just 22 minutes per game.

Clingan's played 20+ minutes in three of these games and in those games he averages 14/14.  He's playing just 25.5 minutes per game in these three games.

Jalen Johson o19.5 A/R (+105)| Lucky Rebel

Jalen Johnson

Jalen Johnson was the Atlanta Hawks' only All-Star this year and he's been on absolute tear this year. Johnson's in his fifth year in the NBA, averaging 23.5 points, 10.6 rebounds and 8.1 assists. He's shooting 49.9% from the field and has shown an ability to stretch the floor with his 3-point shot.

Johnson's ability to score is just one reason he made the All-Star Game this year and just one reason the Hawks' front office has made the decision to build around him. He's been tough on the glass, but he's also shown a heightened ability to find his teammates in good spots.

Johnson's 8.1 assists per game isn't an accident. In his career, Johnson's averaging 6.1 assists per game without Trae Young in the lineup and it's something we saw a ton of both this year and last year. If you go back to just last season, Johnson's played 44 games without Trae and he's averaging 11 rebounds per game and 8.3 assists per game.

The Hawks come into tonight's game on the second night of a back to back, fortunately at home. The Hawks will host the Miami Heat tonight and the Heat present a very rare type of matchup. The Heat rank top 10 in most defensive metrics, outside of points allowed, rebounds allowed and assists allowed. How? It's because they play at the fastest pace in the NBA.

Miami ranks 20th in points allowed, 29th in rebounds allowed and 19th in assists allowed. That being said, they also rank 7th in opponent effective field goal percentage, 4th in defensive rating, 5th in opponent 3-point percentage and 9th in opponent offensive rebound rate.

Naji Marshall o23.5 P/R (-120) | Lucky Rebel

naji marshall

The Dallas Mavericks will be without Cooper Flagg as he nurses a left foot sprain and because of that, I'm looking right at Naji Marshall. In Marshall's second year with the Mavericks, he's started 29 of his 53 games, averaging 15.1 points, 4.8 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game.

In the 29 games that Marshall started, he averaged 17.7 points, 5.2 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game. He shot 54.6% from the field in these 29 games and took an average of 12.4 shot attempts per game.

Marshall's also played in five games without Flagg this year and he's cleared this line in three of the fives games. In these fives games, Marshall is averaging 19.6 points and 4.8 rebounds per game. He's still taking just 12.6 shot attempts per game but he's also getting to the free throw line for 4.4 free throw attempts per game.

The Timberwolves are a tough defensive matchup but they do rank 22nd in opponent free throw rate and Marshall finished with 18/6 just a few weeks ago against this same defense.
