Today's Best Bets
Michael Porter Jr. o25.5 Points (-115) | Lucky Rebel

Michael Porter Jr. is thriving in Brooklyn and outside of his terrible podcast, he's been great. Porter's averaging career highs across the board with 26.1 points, 7.5 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game. The 7th year guard is shooting 49.5% from the field and an astounding 41.1% from beyond the arc; even while taking 9.4 attempts per game.
The Clippers defense is one of the worst in the league and the only reason they don't rank at the bottom of every defensive metric is because their slow pace of play. Los Angeles ranks 29th in pace, 11th in points allowed, 8th in opponent free throw rate and 9th in opponent 2-point percentage. The problem is on the perimeter they just can't play defense.
The Clippers rank 11th in 3s allowed but 26th in opponent 3-point percentage. They've been awful on the perimeter and it's their slow pace of play that keeps them from giving up more 3s. Porter's done a great job this year of scoring from all three levels on the court. His 3-point shooting has been great but he's also been fantastic at the rim and in the mid range.
The Clippers defense has been bad this year and Michael Porter Jr.'s had his fare share of battles with this team. He's played the team 31 times between the regular season and postseason; their most recent being last year in the playoffs. The Clippers took the Nuggets to 7-games and Porter just never seemed healthy. His shot percentages were good but the volume was severely lacking and it all fell apart against the Timberwolves in the semi-final.
Dillon Brooks o19.5 Points (-120)| Lucky Rebel

It feels like everyday I'm writing about the NBA, Im also writing about Dillon Brooks. The Canadian's having a career year in Phoenix and it's directly resulted in wins for this Suns team. Brooks is averaging 21.2 points, 3.3 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game. He's shooting 45.7% from the field, 34.2% from beyond the arc and 83.8% from the free throw line.
Brooks is the #2 option in Phoenix and I'll continue to yell that from the mountain top until the situation changes. The Suns have won 7 of their last 10 games, sit 7th in the Western Conference and 2nd in the Pacific Division.
It was Brooks first time back in Memphis, as the #2 option for the Suns. Brooks scored 21 points in just 25 minutes of game time, shot 5/12 from the 3-point line and the Suns blew the doors off Memphis. Tonight the Suns are back home in the desert, ready to host a Knicks team that's dropped 4 of their last 5 games.
New York ranks 27th in 3s allowed, 26th in opponent 3-point percentage and 22nd in opponent effective field goal percentage. Brooks has done a ton of damage from the perimeter and his numbers have been significantly better at home. He's averaging 24.3 points per game at home this year, compared to 18.9 points per game on the road.
Dyson Daniels o12.5 A/R (-115) | Lucky Rebel

Trae Young's been traded and it's time for a new era in Atlanta. The Hawks went 2-8 in games with Trae this year and it just lead to a situation that no longer worked for either side. Now the Hawks have given the reigns to Jalen Johnson. He's looked great and this Hawks team in general has looked a lot better without Trae on the floor.
Big reason why, Dyson Daniels. Daniels is averaging 11.7 points per game this year but more importantly he's averaging 6. rebounds and 6.1 assists per game. He's cleared this line in 7 of his L10 games, averaging 7.1 assists and 6.8 rebounds per game. The Nuggets rank 22nd in assists allowed but have been a top 10 rebounding team all year. However, without Jokic that's flipped.
In the Nuggets' last five games, they rank dead last in opponent offensive rebounds allowed and Daniels has been doing a ton of damage on the offensive glass. Daniels is averaging 1.8 offensive rebounds per game over the last 10 games and ranks 3rd among all guards in the NBA in offensive rebounds per game. He's been great for the Hawks and a huge reason why the team felt comfortable moving on from Trae.
