Happy Monday. Hope you had a great weekend and I hope your favorite football team's still playing this weekend. Now forget about football and lock in. We've got a beautiful looking NBA slate to talk about and I've got too many props I love today. Let's jump into it.
For additional information on picks, props, money lines and more on today's slate, take a look at our NBA Picks Page or our NBA Odds Page, here.
Today's Best Bets
- Matas Buzelis o21.5 P/R (-105)
- Toumani Camara o2.5 3s (-130)
- Dillon Brooks o19.5 Points (+108)
- Jusuf Nurkić o26.5 PRA (-110)
- Jaylen Brown o42.5 PRA (-110)
Matas Buzelis o21.5 P/R (-105) | Lucky Rebel

Coby White's back in the lineup so I see why the line hasn't changed, but Matas Buzelis has been great recently with the increased usage. He's seeing a 29.0% usage rate over their last three games and it's resulted in him averaging 19.0 points, 7.7 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game. Chicago's 2-1 during that three game stretch and both games came without White and Giddey.
White's been dealing with a calf issue and it's lead to him still playing with a bit of a minutes restriction. With him missing the last three games, I'd expect him to play under 30 minutes today and for that extra usage to find it's way to Buzelis. He's going to be a big part of this team's future and he's showing it.
This will be the first first time the Bulls/Celtics face off this year and it's why all of Buzelis' gamelogs against Boston don't inspire confidence. That being said, Buzelis has been great on the road this year, averaging 14.3 points per game but more importantly shooting 51.5% from the field and 39% from beyond the arc.
Buzelis averaged 15.7 points and 4.6 rebounds per game in the month of December and he did it in just 26.5minutes per game. He shot 52.7% from the field, 34.7% from three and most of those games came with both Giddey and White in the lineup.
Buzelis is the next guy up in Chicago and I'm excited to watch his development.
Toumani Camara o2.5 3s (-130) | Lucky Rebel

I'm going right back to Toumani Camara in what should be a great matchup against the Utah Jazz. The Jazz rank 30th in 3s allowed, 26th in opponent 3-point percentage allowed and 29th in opponent wide open 3-point attempts. The team's done a terrible job on the perimeter and Camara's taken advantage of countless bad defenses.
Camara's been one of the Blazers' best 3-point shooters and it's why almost 70% of his total shot volume comes from outside. Camara's averaging 7.3 3-point attempts per game this year and shooting 35.4%. In the month of December, those numbers rose to 7.4 attempts per game and 37.9% from beyond the arc.
He's cleared this line in 7 of his L10 games and he's shooting 39% from beyond the arc, taking 8.2 attempts per game. The Jazz are playing at the 4th highest pace in the NBA, but rank 30th in defensive rating. The team's giving up 15.4 3s per game and Camara's currently their best 3-point shooter.
Dillon Brooks o19.5 Points (+108)| Lucky Rebel

Dillon Brooks is back in Houston and you know what that means. Brooks didn't spend a ton of time in Houston but did do a lot to change the culture down there. Now you can see why he might be a little angry about the trade to the desert. Brooks helped get Houston back in the playoffs and in turn he was shipped to Phoenix; a team no one thought would compete the way they are this year.
Brooks is now the Suns' second leading scorer, behind only Devin Booker and he's legitimately become this team's second scoring option. The Suns have won six of their last seven games and currently sit 7th in the Western Conference, just two games back of the Lakers for third place in the Conference.
Brooks is averaging a career high 21.4 points per game and he's doing it while shooting 46.1% from the field. He's averaging 20.9 points per game over the team's last 10 games and he's shooting 50% from the field and 41.1% from beyond the arc.
The Suns and Rockets have met twice this year, Brooks has played in both games. He's scored 29 and 23 points in the two games. Both games were blowout losses for the Suns and Devin Booker was only active for one. The Suns are rolling and despite the fact this game comes on the 2nd night of a back to back, it feels like might just have a little more fight in them.
Brooks is also averaging 24.2 points per game off zero days rest and shooting 48.9% from the field in these games.
Jusuf Nurkić o26.5 PRA (-110) | Lucky Rebel

Jusuf Nurkić just had his best game of the year. The 31-year old's been playing some great basketball recently but his most recent game against the Celtics was something else. Nurk scored 26 points, grabbed 8 rebounds, dished out 8 assists and shot 10/11 from the field. He was perfect from beyond the arc (2/2) and went 4/5 from the free throw line.
The Celtics are a team that rank bottom 10 in both offensive rebounds allowed and second chance points allowed. The Blazers are the exact same thing. Portland ranks 28th in opponent offensive rebound rate, 27th in opponent free throw rate, 20th in points allowed in he paint and 18th in second chance points allowed.
Lastly, Nurkić spent most of his career with the Blazers. Nurk started 323 games for the Blazers and finished with a 57% win rate as a starter. He averaged 14/10 for Portland and multiple career games with this Blazers team. His career high in points was scored here at the Moda Center, he's got multiple games of 20 points and 20 rebounds for Portland and this is the first time he's returning as a starter since 2024.
Nurk played the Blazers back in October. He played just 16 minutes off the bench, scored 13 points, grabbed 4 rebounds and dished out 4 assists. He shot 4/10 but took 10 shots in just 16 minutes of game time. Now he's back in Portland and he's averaging just under 30 minutes a game as the team's starting center.
Jaylen Brown o42.5 PRA (-110) | Lucky Rebel

No long winded explanation here. Jaylen Brown is playing MVP-caliber basketball and it can no longer be ignored. Tonight the Celtics are back home and host a Bulls team that's playing a top five pace in the NBA. Brown should see plenty of shots and I'm expecting him to stuff the stat sheet tonight at the REAL Garden.
