Saturdays are for NBA Basketball and we've got a full slate to get into. Let's not waste any time and jump right into my favorite props tonight.

Today's Best Bets
Jock Landale o23.5 P/R (-120) | Lucky Rebel

Let's kick it off with something strange, Jock Landale of the Memphis Grizzlies. The Grizzlies will be without Santi Aldama, Brandon Clarke, Zach Edey and possibly Jaren Jackson Jr. tonight. All but Jackson are confirmed out of the lineup with Jackson being designated as doubtful.
Landale hasn't had a ton of opportunity this year but when his number's been called, he's answered. Earlier this year in a matchup with this same Timberwolves team, Aldama, Jackson and Edey all found themselves in foul trouble and Landale would end up playing 30 minutes. He scored 20 points, grabbed 10 rebounds and shot 4/9 from beyond the arc.
Landale's only played two games with Jackson this year, both coming early in the season with Aldama, Edey and Clarke still in the lineup. Tonight will be the first time this year that all four could be out of the lineup. This matchup is one of the toughest in the league but with so few opportunities for Landale to showcase his skills, I believe he steps up tonight.
Joel Embiid o29.5 Points (-110)| Lucky Rebel

This will be the first time we bet on Joel Embiid this year and I'm ready to be hurt. Joel's been playing high level basketball once again and it's looking like he's back to a regular rotation of minutes too. Embiid's played in 27 games this year, averaging 30.7 minutes, 25.7 points, 7.4 rebounds and 3.9 assists per game.
In the month of January, Joel's playing time has jumped to 33.8 minutes per game. Across these 13 games, Joel's averaging 28.9 points per game, shooting 54.4% from the field and getting to the line for almost 9 free throws a game.
In his last five games, Joel's averaging 36.9 minutes per game and scoring an average of 34 points per game. He's shooting 56% from the field and getting to the line for nearly 12 free throw attempts per game. It looks like he's back to being Joel so let's talk about his matchup.
The Pelicans rank 26th in opponent effective field goal percentage, 28th in opponent offensive rebound rate, 28th in points allowed, 25th in points allowed in the paint and 29th in second chance points allowed.
Embiid ranks 4th in the NBA over his L10 games in second chance points per game and he's averaging 2.4 offensive rebounds per game. That coupled with his general ability to put ball in bucket makes me feel like tonight's a big Embiid night.
Tari Eason o17.5 P/R (-130) | Lucky Rebel

This one might sound a little strange but the Rockets are riddled with injuries and have struggled to generate offense outside of Kevin Durant. Tari Eason is a 6'8 hybrid forward that can play at most spots on the court. Right now the Rockets have been rolling with a starting lineup of Amen Thompson (1), Tari Eason (2), Kevin Durant (3), Jabari Smit Jr. (4) and Alperen Sengun (5).
Eason's been filling in at the shooting guard spot and despite not starting a majority of games, he's been good. Eason's averaging 23.9 minutes per game this year but still scoring 11.9 points per game and grabbing 6.2 rebounds. In 11 games as a starter this year, Eason's averaging 13.1 points and 7.0 rebounds per game. He's playing 26.5 minutes per game in these matchups and shooting 45% from beyond the arc.
Eason's started 7 games in the month of January, averaged 12.6 points and 7.9 rebounds per game. He shot 45.2% from beyond the arc and averaged 2.7 offensive rebounds per game.
The Mavericks ranks 21st in points allowed, 27th in rebounds allowed and Eason's cleared this line in 4 of his L5 games against the Mavericks; including twice this year.
Cooper Flagg o5.5 Rebounds (-105) | Lucky Rebel

Same game, but opposite team.
Cooper Flagg's been so good and he's coming off a career high 49 point game. He went toe to toe with his former Duke teammate Kon Knueppel and despite Kon getting the win, it was Flagg's 49/10 game that stood out.
Flagg's averaging 19.5 points, 6.5 rebounds and 4.1 assists per game in his rookie year. Flagg's been great in his rookie year and in games without Anthony Davis we've seen him smash the glass.
He's cleared this line in 18/24 games without AD and averages 6.4 rebounds per game. The Rockets are one of the best rebounding teams in the NBA but without Steven Adams and Anthony Davis for the Mavs, it feels like a spot we the rookie clean the glass.
