The Phoenix Suns travel to the Mile High City to take on the top of the West Denver Nuggets and Nikola Jokic.
Can the Suns stick around with the Nuggets tonight or will Jokic and Co. be too much to handle in this Wednesday night clash in the NBA?
Here is my Analysis, a Game Prediction and my favorite Player Prop of the Game!
The Limping Suns are Fading
It has been a super tough stretch for the Suns over the past month. They are 2-8 in their last 10 games, most of that having to do with a lot of the team dealing with injuries.
They did win their last game against the Warriors without pretty much their entire lineup, but the same is true again tonight and the Nuggets are a whole different challenge.
It is tough when a team deals with injuries to a few players at any point in the season.
But for the Suns to be without major pieces for extended stretches of the season and still be 7th in the West, is a testament to the coaching staff and the role players.
They have kept the ship afloat during this tough stretch but can they hold the talented Nuggets tonight and prevent this one from getting out of hand in the Pepsi Center in Denver?
The Nuggets keep on Cruisin’
While the Suns are struggling, the Nuggets…well…quite the opposite.
The Nuggets are rolling right now, winning 8 of their last 10 games and 3 straight.
Nikola Jokic has been playing MVP caliber basketball yet again this season, averaging a Triple-Double and dominating on a night to night basis.
The Nuggets are 1st in the West but with the Grizzlies now tied right behind them, they will want to keep their foot on the gas into the back half of the season and into the playoffs.
Tonight, against one of their Western conference foes not playing their best ball right now, can the Nuggets take advantage and grab yet another big Western Conference win?

Prediction
I know the Suns were big time underdogs against the Warriors last game, with pretty much the same lineup and not only covered but won outright.
That isn’t happening tonight.
I expect a big performance from the Nuggets tonight, led by Jokic yet again, leading to a big win at home.
Best Bet
Nuggets -14 (-112)
Consensus Pick
Suns +14 (-108)
Player Prop of the Game
Nikola Jokic o9.5 Assists (-136)
I know that Jokic had 41 points against the Suns on Christmas Day so his point seem like a good look but I think this game could get ugly and Jokic will defer to his teammates a lot more to score.
Jokic has 10+ assists in 5 of his last 8 games and in 2 of the 3 misses, he had 9 assists.
In a game that could get out of hand later in the game, I want to rely on Jokic and his facilitating early in this one to get the job done and get his teammates involved scoring the ball.
Enjoy this game and all the other NBA games tonight!
