Prediction

It is going to be a fun one tonight in the Garden.

The Sixers come into town riding high, having won 9 of their last 10 games and are sitting 3rd in the East.

Joel Embiid has been playing incredible basketball this season, especially in the last 2 weeks.

Since being snubbed as an All-Star Starter, he has averaged 32.8 points and 12 rebounds per game.

The last time these 2 teams squared off in the Garden, it was Christmas day and Joel dropped 35 in a Sixers win.

Tonight, the Knicks get a chance to grab a bit of revenge back at home, with the help of a red-hot Jalen Brunson (more on him in a bit) and All-Star Julius Randle.

I expect a close game tonight, with all the stars playing their part in this one and it coming down to the wire.

The 4 point spread is a lot of points and, while I know that Embiid is capable of taking over a game at any time, I like the Knicks to keep this one close at home.

As I mentioned, Brunson has been a joy to watch in his first year in New York, but has been awesome the past 2 weeks.

Over the past 5 games, Brunson is averaging 30 points per game almost 6 assists.

Both games against the Sixers this season as a Knick, Brunson has 30+ points and assists. Additionally, when the Sixers and the Knicks faced off on Christmas day, Brunson scored 25 points and tacked on 11 assists.

Brunson has 30+ P+A in 12 of his last 16 games, and for a guy who is capable of dropping 30 points alone, I love the value we are getting on the Points+ Assists line.
