Prediction

This is the second meeting between these two Eastern conference foes and both meetings were double digit Boston wins.

It is hard to bet against the Celtics, especially at home but with how the Nets have been playing over the last 2 games, things could get interesting in Boston tonight.

Kyrie Irving has been sensational since Kevin Durant has been out of the lineup, averaging a little over 31 PPG over his last 10 games.

He is going to have to be great again against Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown tonight to keep the Nets around.

The MVP Candidate Tatum has been fantastic all season but especially in this recent stretch, scoring the ball but more impressively, rebounding.

He is averaging a Double-Double over his last 10 games, dropping 32 PPG and over 11 RPG. He has been doing it all, and getting help from his mate, Jaylen Brown.

Brown has been somewhat quietly having a career year in Boston, and has been really good the past 2 weeks, averaging 27 points and 7 rebounds per game over the past 10.

Brown also cooked the Nets when they played in December, dropping 34 points and grabbing 10 rebounds.

If both Brown and Tatum get rollin' tonight, it could be a long night for the Nets.

And I think they do.

Kyrie has been awesome and I think he has another great performance to keep the Nets competitive but in the end, the Celtics will be too much to handle.

Give me the Celtics to bag another double digit win at home and further their lead at the top of the East.

Jayson Tatum o8.5 Rebounds (-128) Fan Duel

As I mentioned, Tatum has been crashing the boards like crazy.

He has 9+ rebounds in 8 of his last 9 games, with 6 of those 9 being Double Doubles.

In the 2 meetings with the Nets this season, he had 11 rebounds in both games as well.

It was hard to find the exact stat line to target for Tatum, as I think his points is a fine look as well.

You could even play his Points+Rebounds line, at o35.5 for (-115).

I fully support all of these looks and think they are good investments tonight but for me, and for the value, Tatum's rebounds is the play.
