Lock in three NBA prop bets for Thursday’s slate as we break down where the value lies tonight for players like Jalen Brunson and more.

What's going on, everybody? We've got a jam-packed day of sports across the board, but just a few NBA games on the slate.

Even still, I've got several NBA prop bets that I'll be sweating out for Thursday, so let's dive in.

For additional information on picks, props, moneylines, and more on today's slate, take a look at our NBA Picks Page or our NBA Odds Page.

NBA Props Bets for Thursday, March 26

Jalen Brunson New York Knicks

Jalen Brunson Over 6.5 Assists (-135)

Let's kick things off in Charlotte, where the Hornets and the Knicks tip off at 7:00 PM ET.

This season, Jalen Brunson has averaged 6.6 assists per game, but during the month of March, that number has soared to nine per game. He has gone over 6.5 assists in 11 of his last 12 games.

The Hornets have improved on the defensive end and should be able to force the ball out of Brunson's hands, making him more of a facilitator, which in turn should help boost his assist numbers.

Dejounte Murray Over 4.5 Rebounds (-116)

Dejounte Murray

Since beginning his season at the end of February, Dejounte Murray has played in 11 games, averaging five rebounds per contest during that span.

He and the Pelicans are heading to the Motor City to face the Detroit Pistons this evening. The Pistons are still without their star player Cade Cunningham, but have managed to go 3-1 in his absence.

We'll see how they fare against a somewhat improving Pelicans squad. At the very least, this game should be kept close and produce a back-and-forth effort, considering the spread is just -4 in favor of the home team.

It should be a solid battle with plenty of missed shots for Murray to clean up, especially with the minutes he'll be logging.

Malik Monk Under 5.5 Assists (-114)

NBA Best Bets Today, Nov. 19 cover

Our final prop bet takes us to Orlando, where the Magic host the Kings.

I'll be betting on Malik Monk to stay under 5.5 assists this evening. That may seem a bit scary, considering he's coming off a 14-assist performance against the Hornets and a six-assist effort in the game prior versus the Nets.

Despite that, I see this as a sell-high opportunity. The Magic allow the eighth-fewest assists per game, and their defensive weaknesses fall in areas where Monk thrives as a scorer, which should push him toward looking for his own shot more than facilitating.

Monk is taking 37% of his shots from mid-range, and the Magic allow the 28th-most attempts from that area while ranking 25th in field goal percentage allowed.

There should be ample opportunity for Monk to score and take advantage of this matchup, which should hopefully keep him under 5.5 assists.
