NBA Prop Bets for Monday, January 26 | Betting News

Evan Mobley Under 31.5 PRA (-115)
Let's kick off Monday's slate with a 7:00 pm ET showdown between the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Orlando Magic. These two teams just faced off on Saturday, making a quick turnaround from warm Florida weather to snowy conditions in Cleveland.
The Cavs handled business in that meeting, knocking off the Magic 119–105 behind 36 points from Donovan Mitchell. One of Cleveland's big men, Evan Mobley, played solid basketball, but not nearly enough to justify backing the over on his inflated 31.5 points, rebounds and assists line tonight.
Mobley finished Saturday's game with 13 points, seven rebounds and three assists, staying well under that number. Even last season, he failed to eclipse this mark in two meetings with Orlando, averaging 15.5 points, 10 rebounds and 2.5 assists across those games.
Some books have already started to adjust, moving his PRA down to 30.5, which I still view as a solid play on the under. It's puzzling why the market pushed this number so high to begin with, but it's a mispricing we should take advantage of by backing the under once again.

Luka Doncic Under 9.5 Assists (-136)
Let's move over to the Windy City, where Luka Doncic and the Los Angeles Lakers will take on the Chicago Bulls. This matchup comes on the heels of an emotional night in Chicago, following Derrick Rose's banner-hanging ceremony and a dramatic game-winner from Kevin Huerter that lifted the Bulls to a 114–111 win over the Boston Celtics.
Doncic has been on an absolute scoring tear throughout January, averaging 33 points per game. While his scoring has ramped up, his facilitating has leveled off at 8.8 assists per contest. That's still elite production, but with his assists prop posted at 9.5 tonight, it creates a quality opportunity to look toward the under.
Doncic has cleared 8.5 assists in just three of his 12 games this month. He should once again be in attack mode against a Bulls defense that ranks 20th in points allowed per 100 possessions and 17th in effective field goal percentage. Chicago also sits 20th in opponent three-point percentage, which caters well to Luka's deep-shot efforts.
Expect Doncic to score early and often, while remaining relatively limited in the assists column.
Cam Spencer Under 7.5 Assists (-135)
Our third and final prop bet features yet another under, this time in the matchup between the Memphis Grizzlies and the Houston Rockets. I'll be backing Cam Spencer to stay under 7.5 assists at -135.
Spencer's assist production has been volatile throughout January, ranging anywhere from three to 13 in a given game. While he's averaging eight assists per contest this month, this spot sets up for a result closer to the lower end of that range given the opponent.
Houston allows the third-fewest assists per game (24.5) and ranks fourth in points allowed per possession while also sitting eighth in effective field goal percentage allowed. The Rockets are coming off two full days of rest and should be well-prepared to defend for all four quarters, making it difficult for Spencer to pile up assists or find any type of offensive rhythm.
Best Bets:
- Evan Mobley Under 31.5 PRA (-115 at Lucky Rebel)
- Luka Doncic Under 9.5 Ast (-136 at Lucky Rebel)
- Cam Spencer Under 7.5 Ast (-135 at Lucky Rebel)
NBA Record: 104-82-1 (+12.14 units)
