Happy hump day. We've got a full slate of NBA games to talk about and a ton of props I'm loving today. Let's jump straight into it.

Today's Best Bets

VJ Edgecombe o9.5 A/R (-130) | Lucky Rebel
Philadelphia 76ers rookie, VJ Edgecombe has been great this year and a big reason why the 76ers have stayed afloat, despite all of their injuries.
The team's closing in on nearly 100 total missed games from their big three of Joel Embiid, Tyrese Maxey and Paul George. Yet, they sit just 1.5 games back of 5th place in the Eastern Conference.
Edgecombe's played in 68 of the team's 75 games this year; averaging 16.1 points per game in his rookie year. He's also stuffing the stat sheet with 5.7 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game. Tonight the Sixers will be without Joel, but still enter the game as a 14-point favorite on the road.
The Washington Wizards have been bad this year and especially bad on the defensive side of the ball. The Wizards rank 26th in opponent effective field goal percentage, 29th in points allowed, 30th in rebounds allowed and 29th in assists allowed.
Washington not only plays really bad defense, but they play at a top five pace in the NBA. Meaning they give their opponents a ton of opportunities to score and rebound the ball.
Edgcombe's cleared this line in all three games against the Wizards this year and in six of his last nine games overall.

Kevin Durant o24.5 Points (-105) | Lucky Rebel
The Houston Rockets are on the second night of a back to back, fresh off a win against the New York Knicks. Houston scored 111 points last night, Durant scored 27 of those points and did it on shooting splits of 56/57/75.
Durant has been the engine that drives this Rockets offense, even at 37-years old. He's played the second most minutes in the NBA this year and it's because the Rockets just don't blow team's out. When Durant goes to the bench, this offense completely dries up.
He's averaging 25.9 points per game this year, he's shooting 52% from the field and 41% from beyond the arc. Durant's played in 72 of the team's 75 games and he's averaging 36.4 minutes per game. He's scoring 29.6% of the team's points this year and that's twice as important on days without rest.
The Rockets average just 109.9 points per game off of zero days rest and tonight they're in that same position. Houston's 6-6 in these 12 games and only one of the six wins was by double digits. The Milwaukee Bucks have been bad but the Rockets' offense has been bad too.
Durant's averaging 27.9 points per game on zero rest and he's shooting 50% from the field in these 12 games. He's also averaging 37 minutes per game in these games and his usage sees a significant boost. Durant's taking 19.9 shots per game on no rest and getting to the line for 6.5 free throw attempts per game.
Milwaukee ranks 23rd in opponent effective field goal percentage, 20th in points allowed and 28th in opponent 3-point percentage. We just need Milwaukee to keep this game within 15 and Durant should see no problem clearing this line.

Jayson Tatum o23.5 Points (-105) | Lucky Rebel
The Boston Celtics are taking a trip to South Beach and if there's one guy that loves playing here, it's Jayson Tatum. Tatum's had some big games here in Miami, both in the regular season and postseason. He's recorded 26+ points in seven of his last eight games here, averaging 27.4 points per game and shooting 46% from the field.
This is the fastest Miami Heat team we've ever seen and it's lead to a huge increase in possessions for both the Heat and their opponents. They play at the highest pace in the NBA and it's why they rank 22nd in points allowed, despite ranking 7th in opponent effective field goal percentage.
They've been good defensively, they just play at such a high pace it results in way more points. Miami's also scoring the 2nd most points in the NBA this year, so if the Celtics hope to get back in the win column; they'll need to keep up.
Tatum's taking a ton of volume over his last two games and he's steadily playing over 30 minutes per game. His usage has been great and against such a high paced offense it feels like the perfect spot for a big JT game.
