The Boston Celtics travel to Texas tonight to take on the San Antonio Spurs. Jayson Tatum's back in the lineup and Victor Wembanyama's playing some of his best basketball.

Analysis & Breakdown
The Jackals
The San Antonio Spurs have the 2nd best record in the NBA, they've got the front runner for Defensive Player of the Year and he's only 22 years old. Things are looking great in San Antonio and it's all centred around the Alien that landed here three years ago.
Wembanyama's helped the Spurs to 47 wins this year, he's averaging 23.9 points per game and he's playing under 30 minutes per game. Wemby's shooting nearly 51% from the field and that with a 35% shooting percentage from outside. He's shooting 58% from inside the arc and currently leads the league in blocks.
Wemby does it all and he does it on both sides of the ball. The Spurs defense ranks 3rd in defensive rating this year, 7th in points allowed and 1st in opponent free throw rate. The Spurs play disciplined defense and it helps keep opponents off the free throw line.
The team ranks third in rebounds per game and third in opponent offensive rebound rate. They've done a great job of clearing the glass and preventing second chance scoring opportunities. Wemby's been the anchor of this Spurs defense and it's allowed his teammates to play just a little more free on the perimeter.
Jaylen & Jayson
They Jays are finally back on the court together and I couldn't be happier. The Celtics have won back to back games since the return of Jayson Tatum and both he and Jaylen Brown have looked great in their first two games back together.
Brown's been the highlight of this Celtics season and it's helped propel him to a top five favorite to win the MVP this year. He's averaging 29.1 points per game this year but he's also done so efficiently. Brown's shooting 48% from the field this year and getting to the line for 7.1 free throw attempts per game.
In two games since returning, Tatum is averaging 17.5 points, 4.5 assists and 7.5 rebounds per game. He's played 27 minutes in both games since his return and it's looking like he'll once again suit up tonight.
The Celtics as a team have been phenomenal this year. They have the 2nd highest offensive rating, rank 5th in defensive rating and have the 2nd best net rating in the league. The team's one weakness was rebounding at the start of the year and somehow now rank 4th in rebounding rate and 6th in opponent offensive rebounding rate.
Head Coach Joe Mazzulla deserves a ton of the credit this year, as does Mitch Johnson for the Spurs. Two elite head coaches go head to head tonight and I can't to tune in.
Tuesday Night's Best Bets
Jaylen Brown o11.5 A/R (-130) | Lucky Rebel
Jaylen Brown's been absolutely great this year. In addition to averaging nearly 30 points per game, Brown grabbing 7.2 rebounds per game and dishing out 5.1 assists per game. He's doing way more facilitating this year with Tatum on the sidelines and in the first two games back together, nothings changed.
Brown's cleared this line in 15 of his last 20 games overall, including both games with Tatum in the lineup. He's averaging 14.2 combined rebounds/assists and like I said above, the Spurs are a top rebounding team in the NBA and top defense.
Points will come at a premium tonight and the Celtics will need everyone crashing the glass. Look for JB to have a significant impact tonight and stuff the stat sheet in more ways that one.
Jayson Tatum o2.5 3s (-105) | Lucky Rebel
Jayson Tatum's been back for just two games so far and he's taken 17 3-point attempts. There's bound to be some rust, but this line just feels way too low for a guy taking that many 3-point shots. He's hit this line in just one of the two games since his return, but he took 9 3s in his most recent game in Cleveland.
The Spurs have been a great in the paint this year and a ton of the points they give up come from the perimeter. This isn't the best matchup, but the volume and the guy taking the shots has me all the way in.
