Today's Best Bets

Cooper Flagg o12.5 (-110) | Lucky Rebel

This isn't a line I think we see next year and with a maximum of 11-games left in Flagg's rookie year; I'm betting it again. As much as oddsmakers want you to believe this Rookie of the Year race is over, it's alive and kicking.

Flagg's been great since his return from injury and the team's giving him a ton of minutes to help him prove his case. Flagg's playing 31.7 minutes per game in his last 10 and he's been stuffing the stat sheet. In these last 10 games, he's averaging 18.6 points, 7.2 rebounds and 6.6 assists per game.

Flagg is coming off another near triple double and he did it against the Los Angeles Clippers. He's also averagng 1.7 blocks per game and nearly 1 steal per game. Flagg's been great on both sides of the ball and tonight he faces a really bad Golden State Warriors team.

The Warriors rank 19th in opponent effective field goal percentage, 26th in opponent offensive rebound rate, 20th in rebounds allowed and 29th in assists allowed to opposing SFs. Flagg' also already played the Dubs twice, finishing with 11 and 12 assists/rebounds in the two games.

Flagg's making his case for rookie of the year and if he continues to stuff the stat sheet like this, I think he walks away with the award.

Jared McCain

Jared McCain o14.5 PRA (-120) | Lucky Rebel

Jared McCain has been playing less minutes, scoring less points and shooting worse since he got to Oklahoma City; but the vibes have just been immaculate. The Sixers traded McCain at the trad deadline and although he was sad when it happen; McCain's all smiles now in Oklahoma.

He's averaging just 16.8 minutes, 6.6 points, 2.0 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game for the Oklahoma City Thunder and he's shooting 37% from the field. Despite the poor shooting, McCain's cleared this line in 11 of 19 games with the Thunder and his minutes have been incredibly sporadic.

McCain's played 15+ minutes in 13 of the 19 games since being traded. He's cleared this line in 10 games; averaging 15.2 points, 2.4 rebounds and 1.1 assists per game. McCain's shooting also jumps with more playing time, shooting 49% from the field and 45% from three.

The Philadelphia 76ers defense has been bad this year and the team is once again be without their three highest paid players. With a 16-point spread in tonight's game, I'm confident Head Coach Mark Dagneault will find his young guard some significant minutes in his return and I'm confident McCain takes advantage.

Neemias Queta

Donovan Clingan o13.5 Rebounds (+110) | Lucky Rebel

The line got higher on the second night of a back to back, with travel from Denver to Portland. The Portland Trailblazers had a tough game in Denver last night and though they looked great in the first half, the team just ran out of gas as the game progressed into the latter half.

Portland scored 69 points in the first half, shot 53% from the field and even 37% from beyond the arc. It's the second half that things got ugly. The team scored just 43 points after the break, shot 31% and 26% from three.

Portland was at the tail end of a five game road trip that started out east and moved west. After a tough win in Minnesota on Friday, the afternoon start time in the altitude of Denver just caught up to them. Clingan secured 13 rebounds, 4 coming on the offensive glass and played just 25 minutes.

Now the Blazers are back home, on the second night of a back to back and up against a really bad Nets team.

With a 15-point spread I'm usually more hesitant, but tonight feels like a tough scheduling spot for the Blazers. Five game road trip that finishes in Denver and now you're back in Portland on zero days rest.

Clingan's line being this high, alongside a game total as low as 217; feels like maybe we see an ugly game with a ton of missed shots on both sides. The Brooklyn Nets rank 20th in opponent offensive rebound rate and would give up even more per game if they didn't rank bottom five in every single defensive category.

Tired legs from Portland and missed shots from Brooklyn, I'm hoping, means more rebounds for Cling Kong.
