Tonight's NBA matchup between the Dallas Mavericks and New Orleans Pelicans was supposed to be a good early opportunity for the Pelicans to size up their talent and potential against one of the better teams in the NBA.

But the Pelicans could take the floor tonight without either Zion Williamson and/or Brandon Ingram, which would adversely affect their chances of winning or keeping the game somewhat close.

The Pelicans could be without Zion Williamson (hip) and/or Brandon Ingram (concussion) for tonight's game, and it's hard to see them pulling out the win, even at home, if they are that shorthanded.

Last time the Mavericks were on the court, they destroyed the Memphis Grizzlies 137-96 at the American Airlines Center on Saturday night.

I don't think that they will go that far in this one, but I do feel very confident in backing the Mavs to cover and to score a lot of points in the process.
