Who's the Best in the East?

The Knicks are riding high right now, coming off of a huge overtime win in Boston against the #1 seed Celtics.

It was an amazing game and gave a bit of a sense that the Knicks could be legitimate contenders in this deep Eastern conference.

Jalen Brunson was awesome after having a few down games but the star of the show was, as it has been for much of the season, Julius Randle.

Randle has seemed to really take the next step in becoming a bonafide superstar this season, averaging 25 PPG, 11 RPG and 4 APG.

I will talk a bit more about Randle later so keep reading for that 😉

For the Nets, the injury to Kevin Durant was a bit of a midseason downer but PG Kyrie Irving has stepped right in and picked up the slack…and then some.

Irving has been on fire, averaging 37 points, 6 Rebs and 7 assists over the last 5 games.

He has been on a tear but the Nets are only 2-3 in that stretch.

Tonight, in Brooklyn will Kyrie have another massive performance and lead the Nets to a big win?

Or will Randle and Co. continue their hot streak and pick up another big Eastern Conference W?

Prediction

I am going with the hot hand in this one.

The Knicks are always capable of doing Knick type things and putting up a dud of a performance but this Knicks team feels different.

I suspect Randle will come out fired up and along side Jalen Brunson and RJ Barrett, the Knicks will cover the spread and possibly even win outright.

Best Bet

Knicks +2 (-105)

Consensus Pick

Nets -2 (-112)

Player Prop of the Game

Julius Randle 3+ Pointers/ Kyrie Irving 25+ points (-104)

BetOnline Same Game Parlay

Let's target the 2 hottest players from both teams and pair them together for some great value.

Randle can be streaky from deep, but has hit 3+ 3's in 3 of his last 4 games and in 3 straight vs the Nets.

Kyrie has been on fire, as I mentioned, scoring 30+ in 5 straight games.

In his last 3 at home vs the Knicks, he has 25+ in all 3.

For the wonderful value of -104, I love this play for the 2 best players to do what they normally do and cash for us!
