See Picks & Statistics For The GameValentine’s Day is here, bringing basketball enthusiasts another slate of exciting NBA games. One game on tonight’s schedule worth watching is a clash between the Sacramento Kings and Phoenix Suns at 9 p.m. ET. Phoenix is up 1-0 in the season series after defeating Sacramento in November, making it interesting to see who wins the latest Kings vs Suns matchup.
The Kings enter tonight’s contests following a hard-fought 133-128 overtime victory over the Dallas Mavericks on Sunday. De’Aaron Fox played like a man possessed, finishing with a game-high 36 points while Domantas Sabonis dominated with his 22-point, 14-rebound double-double.
On the other hand, the Suns also have some momentum after tallying a 117-104 win against the Indiana Pacers. This is Phoenix’s first home game since Feb. 1, though, leaving time to tell if the Suns can send the crowd home happy.
There’s a lot to take in before Tuesday’s Kings vs Suns game. Fortunately, Betting News has gathered the game’s odds while also having a prediction, the best bets and a player prop for tonight’s contest.

Kings vs Suns Prediction and Picks
Kings vs Suns Prediction: Kings 116, Suns 112
Kings vs Suns Picks: Kings +2.5 (Best Value: -110 at BetOnline) & Under 233.5 Points Points (Best Value: -110 at BetOnline)
After making the biggest deal of the NBA trade deadline, the Suns will be without their latest acquisition tonight. Kevin Durant won’t suit up against the Kings due to a knee injury and will remain sidelined until after the All-Star break, as per the Arizona Republic’s Duane Rankin.
On top of that, Landry Shamet (foot) and Cameron Payne (foot) will also be out of Phoenix’s lineup until the All-Star festivities are finished. Considering how Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson and Jae Crowder were traded away to land Durant, it’s easy to see how the Suns’ offense could be in a bad place tonight.
While they are getting Devin Booker back, it’s worth noting that he’s only averaged about 26 minutes in two games since injuring his groin back in December. His minutes will continue to be shorter than usual until he’s at 100%, meaning his full impact will be limited for the time being.
The Kings have also been playing well on the road as of late. They’ve won seven of their last 10 away contests, which includes racking up 130-plus points in each of their most recent two road games.
On top of that, the Kings are a solid 16-11 ATS on the road this season and have covered the spread in six of their last nine games against the Suns. While Phoenix is 16-12 ATS at home thus far, it’s going to be hard to keep that trend going with a shorthanded lineup.
With recent momentum being on the Kings’ side, I see them pulling off the road victory tonight. The Suns’ offenses is pretty much non-existent at the moment outside of Deandre Ayton and Chris Paul, who only combine for 31.4 PPG.
Having said that, I’m taking the Kings to cover as the +2.5 underdogs. Sacramento has covered the spread more often than not in the latest Kings vs Suns matchups and with the latter dealing with some injuries, I’m expecting an upset tonight.
I’m also taking the total going under 233.5 points. Durant being out and Booker playing limited minutes lowers the probability of a high-scoring affair. On top of that, the under is 10-5 during the last 15 matchups between the Kings and Suns.
Best Kings vs Suns Prop Bet
Deandre Ayton — Over 10.5 Rebounds (-113)
Deandre Ayton enters tonight’s contest with a projected rebound total of 10.5. Surpassing that number hasn’t been an issue for Ayton, who is averaging 11.8 rebounds over his last 15 games. Furthermore, he’s gone over 10.5 boards in 10 of those contests.
Considering how he’s finished with 11-plus rebounds in eight of his last 11 games against the Kings, I predict another dominant night for Ayton in the paint.
