Celtics vs Suns Prediction & Player Props: JT and JB in the Desert

The East-leading Boston Celtics travel to Phoenix to take on the West-leading Suns in what should be an electric end to NBA Wednesday night.

The Celtics are off to an amazing start to the season, sitting at 20-5 and as I mentioned, best in the East.

Jayson Tatum has been playing maybe the best basketball of his career and is the early frontrunner for the MVP.

Tatum is averaging over 30 points, 8 rebounds, and 4 assists and has been spectacular.

But it isn't just Tatum that has been great. Jaylen Brown has also been fantastic to begin the season.

Brown is averaging over 26 points, 7 rebounds and almost 4 assists per game.

He and Tatum have become one of the best one-two punches in the NBA and that should continue tonight against the Suns.

Speaking of the Suns, they have also been very good to start the season, even though they just put up a dud against Luka and the Mavs in Dallas.

They are still on top of the West and their superstar Devin Booker has also been fantastic to begin this year.

Booker is averaging over 28 points and 6 assists per game and will be called upon again tonight to have another big game against the league-best C's.

In this battle the conference leaders, who will come out on top?

Prediction

These teams haven't faced off too often so this one should be a great game that we don't get to enjoy, especially in the regular season.

I find it hard to lean one way or the other here, and think it will come down to the wire but I am going with the better overall team.

Give me the Celtics to get the job done, on the road, and Tatum and Brown to continue their All-Star form.

As I mentioned above, Brown has been great to start the season.

It was hard to pinpoint one specific stat line I loved the most, and for the value, his PRA made the most sense.

He has gone over his PRA in 5 straight games and in 6 of his last 7.

He is scoring at will, but also rebounding a ton.

Due to that fact, I will be laddering his rebounds as well.

He has 8+ rebounds in 3 straight games and 10+ in 2 of those games.

Also, in his last 2 matchups against the Suns, he had 11 and 9 rebounds.

I love him to be active all over the court tonight, yet again.
