After losing to the Knicks two nights ago in Madison Square Garden and seeing the Bucks win their 15th in a row and surpass them at the top of the East, the C's will be looking to get back on track tonight with a big win.

Prediction

TD Garden will be raucous tonight as both of these apparent playoff teams are set to go toe-to-toe.

The Celtics had a nice lead at the top of the East vanish as the Milwaukee Bucks have rattled off 15 in a row to leap frog the Celtics to snag first place.

It is going to come down to the wire in at the top of the East and the Celtics need to get back to winning tonight against the surging Cavaliers to grab the #1 seed back again.

Superstar Jayson Tatum has struggled since returning from the All-Star break, failing to score 20+ points in 2 straight games and has shot less than 40% in both games.

The Celtics will need more consistent play from Tatum tonight and down the stretch to guarantee a chance for the top spot in the East, hitting game winners like this.

For the Cavaliers, tonight could be a big opportunity to grab a huge Eastern conference win in a tough place to play, given the Celtics struggles over the past few games.

Donovan Mitchell and Darius Garland (more on Garland in a bit) will play big parts in this one as the Cavaliers big 2 will have to match the Celtics big 2 in Tatum and Jaylen Brown.

All in all, this game will be a slugfest.

Both teams need a win and both teams are eyeing their seeding in the conference and a big win tonight will mean a lot to both squads.

The Cavaliers are 2-0 against Boston so far this season, with both game coming before Christmas, but more importantly for how I am going to bet on this game, both games went to overtime and went OVER the total.

In what should be a down to the wire game again, give me the over. The Cavaliers have gone over the Total in 4 of their last 5 and the Celtics have gone over in 3 of their last 5.

Player Prop of the Game

Darius Garland o6.5 Assists (+100) BetMGM

I honestly can't believe the value we are getting here on Garland. In the first two matchups with the Celtics earlier this season, he had 11 and 6 assists.

He just had 11 assists in the Cavaliers win against the Raptors and I expect a similar facilitating performance tonight.

He will be guarded by one of the best on ball defenders in the league in Marcus Smart which will give him more avenues to find the open guy and be the playmaker facilitating instead of scoring.

Getting plus money for the Cavs PG is a steal and is my favorite prop. You can also ladder it to 10+ for really nice value for a small bonus play.
