Even though the Bucks managed to get some momentum back with a Game 5 victory, their chances of survival aren't that promising.

For starters, the Bucks' injury list continues to feature some of their best players. While Khris Middleton (ankle) and Patrick Beverley (oblique) are both listed as being 'probable' to suit up tonight, Giannis Antetokounmpo (calf) and Damian Lillard (Achilles) — the team's top superstars — are both doubtful for another consecutive game.

What's even worse is that the Bucks will be without the dynamic duo on the road, where they've lost five straight games. That includes a disappointing 0-2 record in Indiana to begin this series.

The Bucks simply didn't have an answer for the Pacers' offense in Games 3 and 4 as they surrendered 123.5 PPG while allowing the latter to shoot 46.9% from the field and a whopping 46.0% from the three-point line. If Milwaukee can't figure out a way to slow Indiana down, things could get ugly.

The Pacers' attack has thrived against the Bucks at home in this series. 

The Bucks are also a team that you can't trust when the odds aren't in their favor on the road. After all, Doc Rivers' team owns a putrid 1-12 SU record when playing as the away underdog this season, failing to cover the spread in nine of those contests.

On the flip side, the Pacers are 20-11 SU and 15-15-1 ATS as the home favorite during the 2023-24 campaign.

Taking all of the above into account, I'm taking the Pacers to advance tonight. Yes, the Bucks got the last laugh a few nights ago, but I can't ignore how bad they've been on the road on top of their back-to-back losses in Indianapolis. The visitors likely won't be able to stop the Pacers' attack tonight as they stand tall before moving on to the next round.

We'll stick with the Over on the 214-point total, though. The Over is a dominant 11-4 across the last 15 Bucks-Pacers matchups, which includes a 100% success rate in the last seven clashes at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. After the first two games in Indianapolis saw exactly 239 points scored each time, it's best to prepare for fireworks.

Even though I'm predicting a Pacers victory, I'm still including to back the Under on Tyrese Haliburton's 18.5-point total (-126).

As he deals with a back injury, Haliburton has struggled to consistently put up points in this series. He's only averaging 15.8 points on .435/.318/.833 splits and has finished four of the first five games with 18 or fewer points. The Under is also 10-4 in his last 14 outings at home.

Unless his back magically heals itself, it's best to temper expectations when it comes to Haliburton's production for now.
