Happy Sunday, folks! Today's NBA slate features 10 games, giving us plenty of betting opportunities to work with.

Several spots caught my eye across today's board, so let's dive into some of my best NBA player prop bets for Sunday, March 8.

For additional information on picks, props, moneylines, and more on today's slate, take a look at our NBA Picks Page or our NBA Odds Page.

Best NBA Player Props for Sunday, March 8

Jayson Tatum Over 2.5 3-Pointers (-104)

Cavaliers vs Celtics Game 3 prediction, NBA odds & picks today

In his first game back after an achilles injury, Jayson Tatum played a surprising 27 minutes, finishing with 15 points on 6-of-16 shooting while adding 12 rebounds and seven assists.

Tatum launched half of his shot attempts from beyond the arc, connecting on three of eight tries.

I'm shocked to see his three-point prop sitting at just 2.5 with little juice on the over. He's facing a Cleveland Cavaliers defense that struggles defending the perimeter, ranking 29th in opponent three-point field goal percentage and 18th in three-point shot rate allowed.

Given the matchup and the likelihood he settles for deeper shots as he continues to get adjusted, rather than attacking the rim frequently, this is one of the better looks on the board today.

Cade Cunningham Over 5.5 Rebounds (-114)

Cade Cunningham Detroit Pistons

The potential league MVP is listed as questionable for today's contest against the Miami Heat, but assuming he plays, I'm also assuming he collects at least six boards.

Cade Cunningham is averaging six rebounds per game, and throughout the month of February that average rose to 6.5. Through three games in March, he's logged six, six and four rebounds, respectively.

At a price of -114, this is a solid look to bank on him grabbing six once again.

This should be a playoff-type atmosphere between the Pistons and Heat, especially with the game taking place in South Beach, which makes things a bit tougher for Detroit.

I'm expecting a defensive effort from both sides that forces more misses than usual, creating additional rebounding opportunities, especially for a player who should log 35-plus minutes tonight.

Deni Avdija Under 6.5 Rebounds (-120)

since Feb. 22. The 25-year-old has been dealing with back issues and is listed as questionable for tonight's contest against the Indiana Pacers.

If Avdija does play, it would be natural to expect a relatively limited minutes load. First due to the injury and the Blazers likely wanting to ease him back into the mix, and second because there's a chance Portland blows out one of the worst teams in the league and doesn't need to extend its starters' minutes.

Throughout the season, Avdija has been somewhat volatile on the glass. While he averages seven rebounds per game, he has often finished below that mark, which is what I'm banking on for tonight's contest.

This line is just a bit too high for someone returning from injury in a potentially lopsided matchup.

Devin Booker Under 5.5 Assists (-114)

Devin Booker

Since returning from injury, Phoenix Suns star Devin Booker has played three games in March. He's logged 31 or more minutes in each contest while shooting 41% from the floor, averaging 25.3 points, 4.7 rebounds and four assists per game.

The notable shift has been his assist production, which has dipped through this three-game sample compared to his season-long average of six assists per game. I'm not expecting that number to climb back toward his average tonight.

The Suns face the Charlotte Hornets, a team that has been slowly improving and ranks in the top half of the league in opponent assists allowed per game. After a 32-point performance Friday night, Booker should continue looking for his own shot and take on more of a scoring role rather than facilitating.
