The NBA's Global Games continue today with an early (for us) tip-off in Berlin. The Orlando Magic will take on the Memphis Grizzlies in the first of TWO international games, both coming this week and both being between these two teams. Let's jump right into this game and talk about my favorite bets.

Grizzlies vs. Magic | Analysis

Health is Wealth
The Magic just haven't been healthy this year. The off-season addition of Desmond Bane was supposed to be a game changer for the Magic and it just hasn't worked out that way. The teams 22-18, 1st in the Southeast Division and 6th in the Eastern Conference. Of the team's 40 games, Paolo Banchero's played in 30, Franz Wagner's played in 24 and Jalen Suggs has played in just 23.
That's a combined 77 player-games missed and we're not even at the halfway point of the season. Franz Wagner will be back withe Magic tonight and will suit up for his first game since the first week of December. He leads the Magic in points per game; averaging 22.7 points per game on shooting splits of 49/36/82.
The Magic have managed to go exactly 8-8 in Franz' absence and the offense has been struggling. I don't expect Franz to play a full compliment of minutes but with this game coming in his home country of Germany, I wouldn't be surprised to see him have a significant impact today.
Orlando ranks 22nd in opponent field goal percentage, 13th in points allowed and 22nd in opponent free throw rate. Their defense has taken a huge step back from last year and it's been another glaring issue for this squad.
I'm in Miami…Mentally
Yesterday we saw a video surface from the Grizzlies shootaround that showed a heated exchange between the Grizzlies' young star, Ja Morant and Vince Williams. While we could not clearly hear what they were saying, it's suffice to say there's a ton of dysfunction in Memphis right now. The team's lost six of their last eight games and rank 24th in points allowed over that span of time.
Without Morant on this team, reports have come out that the Grizzlies plan to build around Jaren Jackson Jr. That's a debate for another time because we've got a game to talk about.
The Grizzlies are allowing 119.4 points per game with Morant in the lineup and that figure drops down to 113.4 when he's sidelined. He's been a constant question mark on the defensive side and it's got people around the league a little hesitant to make a trade for the young star.
Cam Spencer o23.5 PRA (-112) | Lucky Rebel

The popular plays today are going to probably revolve around Franz Wagner or maybe Mo Wagner. The two Germans are playing an NBA Game in their home country for the first time and I' wouldn't blame ya for going that route. However, let me talk to you about Cam Spencer.
Spencer's started 9 games this year with Morant out of the line; averaging 11.9 points, 9.1 assists and 4.1 rebounds per game. He's cleared this line in 6 of his L10 games without Morant and tonight despite the travel, I think he does it again.
The total's sitting at 229/230 depending on the book your looking at and the Grizzlies come into this has just a 4.5-point dog. Feels like Vegas is telling us we might see a little more fight from the Grizzlies team than we might think. Spencer's been at the center for a ton of the Grizzlies' biggest games over the last couple weeks and his increased play time indicates the coaching staff feels the same way.
Look for Spencer to start the day with a few bangs in the afternoon.
