White Sox vs. Yankees: The Yankees sit tied atop the AL East after last night's win over the White Sox and Toronto's loss to Boston. With only four games remaining, there is no room for slip ups. Every inning feels like playoff baseball, and tonight's finale against Chicago must be treated like a must-win sweep before Baltimore arrives. The Orioles have nothing to lose and will relish the role of spoiler, so the Yankees must keep their momentum alive. The division crown is right in front of them, but it will take urgency and execution to lock it down.

After last night's win over the White Sox and the Blue Jays loss to the Red Sox, the Yankees now sit tied for first place in the AL East. With four games left in the season, there is no margin for error. The Yankees must keep pressing and treat every game like October baseball. Tonight's finale against Chicago should be approached with the urgency of a playoff sweep before welcoming Baltimore to close out the year. The Orioles will gladly play spoiler, and New York must be ready to withstand that challenge if they want the AL East crown.
Martin's Struggles
Tonight the White Sox send Davis Martin to the mound. The right hander owns the second worst pitcher rating of the day, per Batters-Box. His metrics are ugly across the board: ISO, wOBA, hard contact, strikeout rate. He has allowed nearly 42% hard contact this season and has been burned badly by left handed bats of late. Over his last 30 faced, lefties have tagged him for a .354 xBA, .576 xSLG, and .362 xwOBA, while carrying a 25% line drive rate. The matchup screams value for a left handed hitter, and that is exactly where I am turning.
You Like Jazz?
Jazz Chisholm to record a hit was listed at $1.65, and I jumped on it immediately. Sure, plus money is available for bases or hits, runs, and RBI, but betting is all about price. Under $1.70 for a single hit is value I will never pass up. Chisholm is batting .381 with a 1.197 OPS over the last week and carries an elite rating tonight. In 35 elite ratings this season, he records a hit 71% of the time, clears 1.5 HRR in 68%, and even homers 25%. At home, those numbers rise even higher.
Everything in Martin's arsenal lines up with what Chisholm destroys. He owns an OPS of at least .748, a wRC+ north of 124, and a batting average above .254 against every pitch Martin leans on. The 27-year-old second baseman is in a prime spot to deliver again, and the board reflects that edge.
The Yankees are fighting for the division, the White Sox are limping to the finish, and Jazz Chisholm finds himself in the perfect position to capitalize on Martin's struggles. Value plays like this are the foundation of smart betting, especially in the final stretch of the season when urgency is at its peak. New York needs every win, Baltimore looms as a spoiler, and Chisholm provides a sharp angle for tonight's card. When the numbers line up this cleanly, you back the matchup and trust the floor. The Yankees have their eyes on the crown, and so should we.
