Last night was a dud as our over had no shot in a 2-0 Cleveland Guardian Win. YTD now sits at 53-35 for a profit of 24.62 Units. Today, the National League Championship Series begins with a rematch of last year as the Los Angeles Dodgers visit the Milwaukee Brewers. The Dodgers swept the Brewers last year but I think this series will be much more competitive.
Game 1 features a fantastic pitching matchup as Tarik Skubal toes the rubber for the Los Angeles Dodgers while the Milwaukee Brewers counter with Jacob Misiorowski. This series features the only 100 win teams in major league baseball this season. Milwaukee owned the best record in the Majors with a 103-59 record, while the Dodgers had a record of 100-62. Los Angeles is looking for a three-peat as World Champions and the Brewers are looking to finally make the Series after years of postseason short comings. This one should be a classic….

- Milwaukee Brewers – RHP Jacob Misiorowski (0-0, 4.50 ERA/1.25 WHIP)
Best Bet: Jacob Misiorowski Over 7.5 Ks +110 Lucky Rebel
Milwaukee started absolutely dominated the 2026 regular season. The 24 year old right hander lead the majors with 252 strikeouts over 174.2 innings while sporting an immaculate ERA of 1.80. The "Miz" possesses a four seam fastball that consistently crosses triple digits but also owns a devastating 92 mile per hour slider. He should be the clear cut National League Cy Young winner and enters his second National League Championship series in his young career.
Jacob faced the Dodgers in relief in Game 1 of last year's NLCS and struck out 9 Los Angeles hitters across 5 innings pitched. Including that matchup, he has faced the Dodgers three times during his career and has struck out 27 Los Angeles bats over 11 Innings, clearing this mark in two of those games. Collectively, the Dodger hitters are 9/58 against him, with 23 strikeouts, a strikeout rate of 40%.
At home this season, Misiorwoski was especially dominating. He owned a home ERA of 1.52 on a WHIP 0.77 with an opponent batting average of .158. He collected 145 strikeouts in 95 home innings pitched. A strikeout line of 7.5 for a playoff game may seem risky but Misiorowksi can clear this in 4-5 innings so I am not worried about a potential short hook, which Milwaukee has done in past. I think they will ride their horse here in am all important Game 1 and set the tone for the series.
