Typically in a deciding game the under would be a lean but not here in this one, at least for me. While the series opened with low-scoring pitching duels, both offenses have completely unlocked after that, lighting up the scoreboard for 26 combined runs across the last two matchups.

The Cleveland Guardians' bats have broken out for 18 runs over their back-to-back victories to force this final game, while the Chicago White Sox enter as one of the most reliable "Over" teams in the league, pacing the majors with a 98–68–2 Over/Under record this season.

Both Managers Will Venable and Stephen Vogt will operate on exceptionally short hooks in a do-or-die elimination game. Because both bullpens have been taxed heavily by high-scoring affairs earlier in the week. Asking middle-tier relief arms to cover extended, high-leverage innings significantly increases the likelihood of a late-inning scoring explosion. Furthermore, the Chicago White Sox will be getting their third look at Cleveland Guardians starter Gavin Williams in a five-day span, completely stripping away any element of pitching mystique. Cleveland will also get a fourth look at Sean Burke this season, which offers them a similar advantage.
With explosive hitters like José Ramírez swinging red-hot bats and the pitching staff operating on fumes, expecting a low-scoring tight squeeze ignores the clear, high-scoring pattern these AL Central rivals have established. I love getting this number at 7 instead of 7.5 as asking for 7 runs here is not out of the question. Including the regular season and playoffs, the over 7 is 11-3-3 between these two teams this season. I think we are in for a very entertaining, back and forth thriller to close out the Divisional round here tonight.
