Happy Friday. Something's happened to the baseballs in the MLB; that's my story and I'm sticking to it. It's the only explanation for the lack of home runs we've seen over the last week, because the ball just isn't flying like it used to.
That being said, conditions look good in a few cities tonight and we've got some known piñatas on the mound waiting to give up some home runs.
Let's jump right into my two favorite hitters tonight.

Today's Dingers
Yordan Alvarez Home Run (+230) | Lucky Rebel
After selling us out on Wednesday, I'm going right back to the hard hitting lefty. Yordan Alvarez is hitting .321 on the year, he's got a .640 SLG and he's hit a league leading 35 home runs.
Alvarez leads the MLB in home runs, ranks 2nd in runs scored and 2nd in RBI. He's got the second highest BRL at 24% and HH at 53%. He's been absolutely crushing the baseball and he's been almost twice as good at home.
Here at Daikin Park, Alvarez is hitting .375 with a .750 SLG. His HH jumps to 27%, his BRL to 60% and 19 of his 35 home runs have come here in Houston.
The Astros have won eight of their last nine games and now sit just a half game back of the division leading Rangers; the very team team they'll be hosting tonight.
Alvarez is batting .412 against the Rangers this year, he's hit 8 home runs against this team and he's just been a menace against this entire division. He's batting .348 against his own division, he's hit 15 home runs and he's got a .786 SLG.
Alvarez has a career batting average of .353 against Eovaldi in his career and 12 of the 22 home runs he's given up this year have come against left handed bats. Eovaldi's allowing lefties to hit .262 on the year, with a .457 SLG and 42% HH.
Jake Bauers Home Run (+370) | Lucky Rebel
The Milwaukee Brewers are one of the best teams in baseball and while they definitely lean on their pitching staff a great deal; they've got some underrated hitters in this lineup.
Jake Bauers is hitting .262 on the year, he's got a .491 SLG and he's hit 18 home runs. The thing with Bauers is that he's just been better on the road. Bauer's batting average jumps to .292 on the road this year, he's got a .528 SLG and 8 of his 18 home runs have come outside of Milwaukee.
Bauers' BRL jumps to 22% on the road and his HH does the same at 55.3%. Ryan Johnson will be on the mound for the Angels tonight. He's got a 7.34 ERA and he's giving up 2.4 HR/9. He's given up 6 of his 11 home runs to left handed bats and has allowed them to hit .289 with a .505 SLG.
