Peter & Sons Expands Into Ontario and Alberta

industry

Independent iGaming game studio Peter & Sons has expanded its Canadian presence through a new content deal with TonyBet.

The partnership brings Peter & Sons' full casino portfolio to TonyBet customers in Ontario and Alberta. It also extends an existing relationship between the companies beyond international dot-com markets.

Peter & Sons develops online casino games with distinctive visual designs, unusual themes, and varied bonus mechanics. TonyBet, meanwhile, is an established multi-jurisdictional gaming operator offering sportsbook and casino products across several markets.

The launch gives TonyBet access to Peter & Sons' games in two regulated Canadian provinces. For the studio, it creates another distribution channel as it pursues growth across regulated iGaming markets.

Peter & Sons Expands Its Casino Portfolio With TonyBet

TonyBet customers in Ontario and Alberta can now access Peter & Sons' complete game portfolio.

The studio has developed a recognizable style built around character-driven concepts and distinctive artwork. Its catalogue also covers different slot mechanics, volatility profiles, and potential prize structures.

Among the available titles are Bloody Mary Pray for Prey and Lucky Caiman. Players can also find Viking Legacy: Hold & Win, which features four prize tiers and a maximum win of 5,000x the stake.

The expanded selection gives TonyBet additional casino content while introducing Peter & Sons' games to more Canadian players. It also provides the studio with greater visibility through an established operator.

Existing Partnership Extends Into Canada

The Canadian rollout builds on a commercial relationship that Peter & Sons and TonyBet have maintained across international dot-com markets.

Rather than establishing a new connection, the companies are taking their existing collaboration into regulated jurisdictions. This approach allows both businesses to build on an established content and distribution relationship.

Peter & Sons Founder and Commercial Director Yann Bautista described the development as a natural progression for both companies.

"Tonybet has already been a valued partner for Peter & Sons, so seeing our relationship expand into both Ontario and Alberta is a natural and exciting progression."

Bautista also highlighted Canada's iGaming market as an important component of Peter & Sons' growth strategy. He added that he was delighted to see the new alliance with TonyBet take shape.

Looking ahead, he expects the relationship to develop alongside Canada's regulated gaming sector.

"We look forward to continuing this journey together as both our partnership and the Canadian market evolve," he further added.

Ontario and Alberta Offer Different Market Opportunities

The launch gives Peter & Sons access to two Canadian markets at different stages of development.

Ontario has operated its regulated iGaming framework since 2022. The province has since developed a competitive market featuring multiple operators, suppliers, and casino brands.

Alberta offers a newer opportunity for companies entering regulated online gaming. Its developing market has attracted operators and suppliers seeking to establish an early presence.

Ontario gambling continues to provide an established environment for licensed online casino operators and game suppliers. Alberta gambling, meanwhile, is developing as the province expands its regulated iGaming ecosystem.

These differences give Peter & Sons exposure to both an established Canadian market and a newer jurisdiction.

Peter & Sons Targets Further International Growth

Canada forms part of Peter & Sons' broader strategy to expand its distribution across regulated markets.

The studio's relationship with TonyBet provides a foundation for that strategy. Their previous work across dot-com markets has now developed into a presence across Ontario and Alberta.

The launch also reflects the growing importance of regulated markets for game suppliers seeking international expansion. By adding its portfolio to TonyBet's Canadian offering, Peter & Sons can reach players in two distinct jurisdictions.

As Canada's regulated iGaming sector continues to evolve, the partnership gives both companies room to develop their commercial relationship further.
