Dream vs Liberty Game 2 Predictions & WNBA Picks Today (9/24)
The Liberty are looking to grow their momentum tonight after opening this first-round series with an 83-69 victory over the Dream in Game 1. Breanna Stewart led the charge for New York as she recorded a 20-point, 11-rebound double-double while Leonie Fiebich added 21 points on 7-of-8 shooting.
The Dream tried their best, however, they couldn't get anything going at the offensive end. The Liberty absolutely silenced the visitors' attack as the Dream only scored 69 points while shooting 39.7% from the floor and 18.8% from deep.
It didn't help that a slow start plagued Atlanta. The Dream didn't lead for a single second in the game and quickly found themselves trailing by 18 points at halftime. When you're up against a team as good as the Liberty, mistakes like that cannot be made.
Having said that, Sunday's outcome wasn't anything new. The Liberty are 4-1 SU in five games against the Dream between the 2024 regular season and playoffs. Even though Atlanta picked up one victory during that stretch, it came last week when New York rested most of its key players for the playoffs.
The Liberty have had the Dream's number throughout the 2024 WNBA campaign.
Based on how one-sided Game 1 was, I fully expect the Liberty to win again on Tuesday night. They're better than the Dream in all facets of the game and that fact is further cemented every time these teams meet. The Dream might push at times, however, the Liberty are talented enough to stand their ground before completing the first-round sweep.
I'm going with the u156 total points as the best bet, though. The Under is 7-1 in the Liberty's last eight home games as well as 6-1 in Atlanta's seven previous road tilts. Additionally, the Under is 4-1 in the five games between these teams this season, which averaged 152.6 combined points per game.
After the Liberty and Dream combined for 152 points two nights ago, I don't expect to see that much offense at Barclays Center.

Best Dream vs Liberty WNBA Prop Bet (9/24)
I like a few Dream vs. Liberty Game 3 player props tonight, including Breanna Stewart o8.5 total rebounds at -143 odds.
The two-time WNBA MVP is one of the best rebounders in the league and her recent performances prove that fact. It's a small sample size, however, Stewart is averaging 10.3 rebounds in her last four games while finishing with the Over on this prop three times — including Sunday's 11-rebound showcase. She's also finished with at least 10 rebounds in three of her last four matchups against the Dream where she's played 17 or more minutes.
Knowing how to step up when it matters the most, look for Stewart to rack up the rebounds again tonight.
Best Dream vs. Liberty Game 3 Prop Bet: Breanna Stewart o8.5 Total Rebounds (-143)
