The UEFA Champions League is back as the Quarterfinals happen today with the 1st leg of action! We are down to our final 8 teams, and all of them play in the next two days.

UEFA Champions League Match Day
Atlético Madrid vs Borussia Dortmund
Dortmund travels to Spain to take on Atlético Madrid in the 1st leg of their UEFA Champions League Quarterfinal Matchup. Atlético sits in 4th place of the La Liga standings, just 2 points separating them from a Europa League spot next year, which makes me think they might not be totally focused at home.
They have certainly lost some games down the stretch that they shouldn't have, however they are noticeably better at home.
Dortmund is coming off a home loss to Stuttgart, who is ahead of them in the Bundesliga currently. Prior to that game, Dortmund had won 5 straight contests, including road matches against Weder Bremen and German Powerhouse, Bayern Munich.
While both squads are fairly loaded with talent, I think we see a conservative game from Dortmund. Being on the road in the first leg, I believe the German squad will send out their best defense, looking to win this on aggregate in the 2nd leg at home.
With that being said, you should know that we're betting on the under today. It's juicy, but since we are flat betting this, I'll take some push potential.
The Pick: Atlético/Dortmund Under 3 (-155) Bovada
PSG vs Barcelona
Paris Saint-Germain hosts the Spanish Giant that is Barcelona today.
Barcelona is unbeaten in their last 11 matches in all competitions. Three of those matches were draws, however, they have won four straight, including a 3-nil defeat of Atlético on the road.
Personally, I think Barcelona is extremely motivated to win this year's UCL. They have a slim chance of catching Real Madrid for the La Liga Title, but they are safely in a Champions League spot for next season.
In this game, I will certainly be taking into account each squads recent competition.
For example, last game PSG tied with Clermont, who is at the bottom of Ligue 1, plus small wins over a couple teams that are in the middle of the pack.
My point here, La Liga is much better competition for Ligue 1, and with the way Barcelona is playing right now, I will certainly be backing them tonight.
