UEFA Champions League Predictions, Odds & Best Bets (4/8)

The UEFA Champions League is down to our final eight teams as the quarterfinals begin the first leg of matches this afternoon. It feels like just yesterday, we started our league phase with 36 hopeful clubs, and now only a few remain, all with the hope of being crowned UCL Champion. Let's get into our best bets in both matches today.

UEFA Champions League: Tuesday's Quarterfinals

Arsenal vs Real Madrid Best Bets

Best Bet: Real Madrid or Draw Double Chance (-140) BetOnline

The defending UCL Champions face the Gunners in England to start their quarterfinal campaign. While Arsenal has gained some players back from injury, most notably Bukayo Saka, they are still missing Kai Havertz, Gabriel Jesus and Gabriel Magalhães. William Saliba will have a tall task trying to control the backline by himself, and offensively I don't see much help from Arsenal either.

Even though Real Madrid is on the road, they fearlessly attack their opponent, and I don't see that changing. They lost at home to Valencia this weekend, which makes me believe they were seriously looking ahead to this match. To me, that means they are very focused, worrying more about the UCL competition than La Liga this late in the season.

For this price, I have to back the visitors who have much more of their top players to choose from.

Prediction: Real Madrid Wins 2-1 (+1100)

Bayern Munich vs Inter Milan Best Bets

Best Bets: Munich/Inter 1H Under 1 (-110) BetOnline

You know me, I've also sprinkled on the 1H under 0.5 at (+185) as well, because I think Inter Milan makes sure this match starts slow.

For starters, Inter has only allowed two goals in the UCL this year across 10 matches. Now, being on the road against the German Powerhouse who has netted 28 goals this competition is scary. However, Bayern has started slow.

They've gone scoreless in the first half in two of their last three UCL matches, plus it would be 3/4 without a 45th minute goal against Celtic. Bayern is also dealing with a few key injuries, missing goalkeeper Manuel Neuer, midfielders Jamal Musiala and Kinglsey Coman, as well as defenders Alphonso Davies and Dayot Upamecano. Point being, they aren't as deep as normal.

I think this will cause the German hosts to be a little more conservative, especially against an Inter Milan backline that is tough to break through. Inter are also known for their counter attacks, so limiting those chances will be huge for Munich. Overall, for the first 45 minutes, I think we see both teams feel each other out, play for possession, and look to find a go-ahead goal in the second half.

Prediction: 1H Draw 0-0 (+180)
