Hannes Wolf has six goals and two assists for NYCFC this season
These two teams faced off earlier in the season in Atlanta. Back in March, these squads played a high-scoring thriller full of goals for the fans. Atlanta was able to take down their visitors by a score of 4-3, but now New York City FC gets to play host. In their first match, NYCFC opened the scoring just 15 minutes into the contest, but Atlanta found an equalizer before halftime. The visitors secured another lead early in the second half, scoring in the 48′ and 51′ minutes to go up 3-1. But the hosts didn't roll over and die.
Atlanta rallied, and had some help from their opponent as they benefited from an own goal in the 62′ and scored in the 75′ and 84′ minutes to win the match. Surely at home, New York City FC has been planning their revenge.

Miguel Almiron is back with Atlanta United after several seasons in the EPL with Newcastle
We've got push potential on this total so we'll take a stab at the under three. New York City FC is only scoring and conceding 1.18 goals per match, having netted and allowed 20 across their 17 contests so far. Atlanta has only scored one more goal overall, but they are allowing closer to 1.76 per match. Luckily for them, NYCFC is not a team that is overly aggressive.
New York City FC is built on a defensive mindset tactically. They enjoy low-scoring contests and trying to find a winner late in the match, especially at home. Both teams are plenty far down on the MLS table right now, and both desperately need all the points they can get. Either team would be happy with one point tonight in a low-scoring draw.
The hosts are 0-2-1 to this under in their last three contests, but prior to that, they had eight straight stay under. New York City FC has been involved in 11 matches where someone has been shutout, and after allowing four goals to this team, I see them trying to keep a clean sheet tonight. As for Atlanta, they are more aggressive, but certainly take an offensive hit on the road.
They are coming off being shutout by the New York Red Bulls, losing 2-0. They've only scored four goals on the road in seven matches away from home, posting a goose egg on the scoreboard four separate times. Against a solid, motivated defense, I see them having trouble finding the back of the net tonight.
Prediction: 1-1 Draw (+600)
